Our discussions focused on empowering Agege youths with practical software and hardware skills, including software programming, operating systems, phone and gadget repairs, device assembling, as well as financial empowerment for top-performing students. We have commenced the clearing of the railway corridor in partnership with the Lagos State Government as part of our commitment to a cleaner Agege. It is important to note that the railway corridor falls under the responsibility of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), not the Local Government. However, in the interest of public health, safety, and environmental cleanliness, we are taking proactive steps to support the clean-up. This week alone, three large waste bins were evacuated from the corridor. Clearing such a space requires time, coordination, and significant logistics, and we appreciate the patience and cooperation of residents as work continues. Our nation isn’t perfect, but it has always been worth believing in. 🇺🇸 We choose what our future looks like — by how we teach our kids, treat our neighbors, and uphold the ideals that have guided us for nearly 250 years. We the People still have work to do, and I believe we are up to the task.
