This was at La Jolla Cove in La Jolla California. These people are swimming at the Cove but there is a good amount of Sea lions there. 😳 You can see one of the Sea lions almost run over a kid as it is trying to get back in the water and you can hear a voice over the loudspeaker telling people to please keep their distance from all the Sea lions. People argued about this saying that little beach was always meant for kids to swim at and has been that way for 40 years. But many others said that it has obviously changed and now we have Sea lions there and they should leave those Sea lions in peace and go find another beach. To me, the ocean, that is their home. There are plenty of other beaches to use. The people should be the ones to move, not the Sea lions. 💯 What is your opinion? Should they just keep it the way it is, let people around the Sea lions or should they close this small beach cove to the public in order to allow the Sea lions to be in peace?

I first introduced the Ernest Peltz Accrued Veterans Benefits Act two Congresses ago. For years, I’ve worked closely with the Peltz family, veterans service organizations, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to craft legislation to correct a moral wrong. My bill eliminates the burden on a veteran’s surviving family by ensuring that the veteran is entitled to receive their pre-approved pension benefits within the month that death occurs. I represent #NY21—serving the largest number of veterans in any district in NY State. That’s why I’m proud to take action to make sure no family mourning the loss of a beloved veteran has to deal with VA red tape and bureaucratic mistakes. This commonsense bipartisan legislation honors the legacy of World War II veteran Ernest Peltz and takes a critical step toward improving the VA’s effectiveness and accountability. In passing my legislation, Congress will rightfully honor veterans for their service and guarantee their families the dignity and respect they have earned.

Asked Jaylen Brown if he feels like he’s been able to improve individually this season: “For sure. And I've been able to be in this in a role where I'd be able to kind of control things, and everybody's kind of playing off me. I've been in those roles seldom over the years, but this year, for an extended amount of time, I've been able to be in that position. And it's honestly, I feel like I still have a lot of room to grow. I feel like even now over the last couple of games, I've adjusted my game, and I'm still continuing to get better in my playmaking ability, seeing the floor, taking my time, all of that stuff is still continuing to improve, but it's honestly — it's my first opportunity in my career where I've been able to do this for an extended period of time. And obviously, regardless, people are going to have their critiques and their criticism, but it's just it's a completely different flow when people play off you or when you play off others. It’s two completely different things. From people watching the game, you just think, like, ‘just roll the ball out, and everything's supposed to work great. Players are all supposed to fit together.’ It doesn't always work like that. Sometimes you got to take a backseat, or sometimes you got to play more offball. So everything shifts. But this year, I've been able to play at my own pace, and I've been able to control my own destiny.”

Officials in the Pacific Northwest are pushing for the lethal removal of the sea lions due to their effect on the decline of the salmon population, and in favor of supporting local communities, commercial fishermen, and tribal fisheries. An estimated 4,000 to 4,500 sea lions live in the Columbia River basin, which runs through Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Washington Representative Marie Gluesenkamp Perez urged the Trump administration back in April to approve the “direct, lethal removal” of the sea lions. Perez said the sea lions have eaten 4 times the salmon that fishermen and Native Americans can harvest in a year. People opposed ot the removal of the sea lions say they are being unfairly blamed for the crisis and instead blame climate change, hydroelectric dams, overfishing, and habitat destruction. The salmon migrate through small passages at the Bonneville Dam, where the sea lions congregate, and 1 in 4 salmon caught showed signs of wounds from sea lions. One X user wrote, “The dams are basically making it so that they have an all-you-can-eat salmon buffet.” A local X user responded by saying, “They do not naturally come as far upstream as they have been, but they've learned fish like to congregate near obstructions like Bonneville or Willamette Falls. Our last ever display at Goodison will be against Ipswich Town. We want to make this a special one and hopefully involve all 4 sides of the ground. To be able to do this we need a lot more flags which cost a lot of money. We are asking for donations to make this possible. Because if nobody wants to work for you… you can't actually do anything.” Ben urges founders to consider the reasons people actually want to work for a person: “Do they have good vision? Do they care about my interests and not just theirs? Are they somebody that I can get behind? Technology has changed everything. During our days, you were giving only about, let's say, eight studio sessions to do like 10 songs. That's a very short period of time for you to rush it. But these days, these guys own their own studios.
