Canadians do not need more Liberal announcements, delays, excuses, photo ops, or empty promises. They need laws like C-69, C-48, drilling bans, the plastics ban, the federal industrial carbon tax, and endless red tape to be repealed and reformed as they block projects, drive away investment, and punish Canadians. I am proud to stand alongside Pierre Poilievre and my Conservative colleagues to continue the fight to respect provincial jurisdiction, cut red tape, axe the federal industrial carbon tax, lower taxes overall, speed up approvals, and restore private-sector confidence so major energy and infrastructure projects can get built efficiently and cost-effectively for the benefit of all Canadians.

Mark Carney says Canada is ready to build while his own Liberals continue to prove the opposite. Another $70 billion UAE investment stalled because the Liberals do not have enough shovel-ready projects. Meanwhile, 500 projects still wait for federal approval. This is not a lack of opportunity. It is a lack of political will. Canada needs taxes and red tape cut and the Liberal anti-development laws and regulations that block projects repealed and reformed, so major projects can move forward with investment from the private sector, for the benefit of all Canadians.

Canadians should judge Mark Carney by his results. Not his promises, announcements, slogans, or illusions. Carney has delivered the same Liberal results: record food bank use, grocery prices rising faster than any country in the G7, the only recession in the G20, higher taxes, more debt, a doubled deficit, and more bureaucracy. Conservatives will continue to fight to cut taxes and inflationary spending, slash big bureaucrat bonuses and corporate cronyism, and axe anti-development Liberal laws and red tape that block building to unleash Canada’s economy, so Canadians can afford to put food on the table without emptying their pockets.

Why do Liberals from Alberta always seem to miss the point & help inflict harm on the province? Of course I know and have noted many times that Alberta was the first jurisdiction in all of North America to implement an effective industrial carbon tax - in 2007, not '08 BTW - that invests in clean and emissions reductions technology, not general coffers, and didn't kill jobs and businesses. That's EXACTLY why common sense Conservatives say the federal government must NOT double down, and impose ANOTHER costly layer on top with a more aggressive and unrealistic punishing federal model. And anyone who wants Canadian businesses and workers to succeed should agree to respect provincial plans, especially since the U.S. does not punish itself with a federal industrial carbon tax - just like none of Canada's other main global competitors. Liberals must axe the No New Pipelines Never Build Anything Anywhere Bill C-69, the Shipping Ban Bill C-48, the only one in the world cap on Canadian oil and gas, and the federal industrial carbon tax so Canada can be strong, self reliant, and united.

This Liberal-NDP government sold a scam to Canadians in the name of a carbon tax. It doesn't lower emissions and leaves a majority of Canadians worse off financially. They will hike the carbon tax 23% on April 1st making everything more expensive. Instead, they should Spike the Hike. This carbon tax scam is like Trudeau, not worth the cost. Time for a carbon tax election so Canadians can scrap this Prime Minister and Common Sense Conservatives can Axe the Tax.

That's the environment we're finding ourselves in. To make sure that the private sector proponents understand that this is a real process, there's a real commitment on the part of all three, parties... we want to make sure that that company knows that we're walking this path with them so that we can get it to the end." Wow. The private sector doesn't trust the government and doesn't want to invest in this. Taxpayers and now on the hook because the government won't remove their own red tape and the Alberta MOU agreed to this whole thing. WTAF⁉️

I really don't get this attitude. Alberta is proposing a pipeline to the West Coast to export oil to overseas that will bring billions to Canada's economy and diversify our exports - both things that the Liberal government claims it wants to do but acting like it's not in national best interest and an Alberta thing. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Tim Hodgson: "If Alberta wants to be a proponent for a pipeline, that's their right to do so. They need to meet the 5 criteria...when they will bring that project forward we will take a look where they are and evaluate it any other project. Tanker ban? It's hypothetical question." Why not be proactive and be part of the solution? They know that their red tape is what stands in the way and will not bring any confidence to the private sector.

After more than a decade of failed Liberal justice policies, Canadians deserve more than political theatre. C-14 leaves the very framework that created this crime crisis intact. Conservatives fought to replace the Liberal principle of restraint with a principle that puts community and victim safety first. The Liberals voted it down. They rejected our amendments. They rejected our private members’ bills. They refuse to repeal the Liberal laws that put repeat violent offenders back on our streets. Until this government is prepared to reverse its failed weak-on-crime agenda, Canadians will continue to pay the price.

That means just weeks before Christmas, workers will have to go home and tell their families that they’ve lost their jobs. At the Forever Canada rally, a man started yelling at me about pipelines. His argument was basically: “Canada built you a pipeline, so you should be grateful.” But that completely misses the point. The Trans Mountain Expansion was originally estimated at about $5.4 billion. It eventually climbed to $34.2 billion after the Liberal government took over the project. That is not a success story. That is what happens when Ottawa delays, blocks, politicizes, nationalizes, and mismanages a project that the private sector was once prepared to build. Then another man walked up, told me I had my facts wrong, and when I asked him to explain, he just walked away. Forever Canada means, I'm right, its impossible for me to be wrong, and grrrrrrr... Albertans should be grateful that Ottawa eventually allowed a pipeline to exist after making it vastly more expensive than it needed to be. Do you still have hope for the future of Canada?
