Today was supposed to be the Chagos Surrender Bill going through the House of Lords. Instead, Labour suffered a humiliating defeat, by the Conservatives in the Lords and forced to withdraw their bill. The Labour Party have rushed this Chagos surrender bill to appease their left wing lawyers, whilst overlooking the US-UK 1966 treaty, stating the British Indian Ocean Territory shall remain under the United Kingdom sovereignty.
