The Liberals are sweating. They do not have enough support for the budget. It’s that much of a disaster. Not the Bloc, the NDP, and definitely not the Conservatives - no one will back it. If they don’t get the votes, we have an election. Which given Carney’s failure with Trump, and his fake “elbows up”, and MSM attacks on Pierre Poilievre, and fake polls, could be a good thing for the Conservatives.

Where school districts are failing students, I’ve long supported a voucher program to give parents real choice. Thanks to the recent federal budget bill, a first-ever national voucher program will take effect in 2027—if states opt in. As Governor, I’ll make sure New Jersey does. If Mikie Sherrill is Governor, she won’t—she voted NO, and just like Phil Murphy, she’s controlled by union bosses who oppose it. New Jersey families deserve better. It’s time for change.

It’s a mistake to see the YPJ as solely a response to end ISIS terrorism or an integral aspect of Kurdish national liberation. The YPJ are a permanent military force that will only dissolve itself when capitalist, statist and patriarchal oppression ends. They are ideologically committed to protecting women and themselves so long as these hierarchies of oppression and violence against women exist. They are a permanent women’s self protection units here to stay. Even if the HTS/Jolani government manoeuvres the disarming of the SDF somehow, the YPJ is ideologically committed to permanent self protection even against the men/forces in their own communities. They cannot be dissolved! The YPJ is one of the most radical and groundbreaking aspects of Rojava’s Revolution.

There was a lot of good that was in this budget, and it is a shame that it was tainted by the mayor's ideological demands - demands which put all New Yorkers in harms way and will only lead this city down a path to ruin. The refusal to fund the 5th Firefighter on our engine companies, to adequately man our police force, or to raise the pay of our EMS workers, among so many other things, while overfunding the Mayor's self-serving, politically motivated agencies and projects, were unacceptable and, to be completely honest, downright dangerous. Not surprisingly, the mayor put ideology over reality with this budget, and for this reason I cannot vote in its favor. That is why I voted no on this year's budget.

That's what the Conservatives did" "I don't want to cut the winter fuel allowance, I don't think any government wants to do that, but we've got to fix the foundations of our economy" "Then we can build the better future that pensioners and so many others voted for in this election" I personally don't think Starmer will sit by and watch pensioners suffer fuel poverty which makes me think that Starmer and Reeves have something up their sleeves which they'll announce in the Autumn statement
