Nice video, bro in official Ottoman usage, the city was called "Kostantiniyye", while "Constantinople" was its Western-language equivalent. Kostantiniyye was actually far more colorful and lively than many people imagine just look at the Ottoman miniatures. Music, festivities, and public entertainment were an important part of urban life.
