We have 6 different models of CNC machines already designed and validated for production but we would need crores to scale up production and offer it to other manufacturers. Hence, we only build machines for our own production facility. Capital is a bottleneck for us. Currently we just have a tiny space within our own factory which is our R&D lab. We are a team of mere three people. Scaling hardware isn’t easy but it’s something that must be done for us to truly be self-reliant. Really appreciate your efforts Sridhar Vembu to build these hardware tools here. We must build more factories and hardware products in the country. Long way to go before I sleep.

We have a terrible problem with a lack of housing, which is driving up rents. We have a 1% vacancy rate. We need development desperately and quickly to bring the supply up and costs down across the board. Right now it takes 4 years to get a permit. I built LaGuardia airport in 4 years. My plan is to build 50,000 units a year because we can, and we will.

The Giga Texas Optimus Factory has made a lot of progress with ground work, GeoPiers & now the steel superstructure which has grown to 4 Floors, at least in the sender section! This is similar to the main factory construction and I suspect we will see varying levels throughout the structure as it continues to build out. This means that with the extension work to the south to reclaim even more land to further lengthen the structure, it will have a meaningful % of the 11 Million Sq Ft of the main factory, so this is truly becoming a massive factory! A large steel staging yard in nearby in the “lone tree” field & several large cranes are at work actively adding more steel as they build out from the center, again, very similar to how the main factory was constructed. Check it out!

Instead of a couple years of permitting, our Army Corps of Engineers, our Secretary of War Pete Hegseth put it at the top of the list, got it fast tracked, and we we broke ground about 3 or 4 months ago. That facility will come online next year. When it does, it’ll produce about 300 million flies per week, in addition to the 100 million from Panama, and then we outfitted an additional Mexican facility. We will get back to the point where we're able to push it back and eradicate it. But until that point, which is likely some time next year, we had FDA fast track a lot of treatment. We’ve got a national veterinary supply stockpile that was loaded onto a plane this morning, is headed to South Texas right now.
