There seems to be a lot of theater and posturing that might make them feel the power of the positions they’re in, but it’s coming at the expense of real people who are risking their lives. And you also have family members here at home who are concerned about those service members and want them to be serving under steady leadership—who want clarity on the mission and why they are being asked to sacrifice so much. And I don’t know that we’re getting that right now.

Haerin: Personally, I’m deeply grateful to the people around me who have helped me grow mentally and made me feel alive. I want to continue working with those people going forward. But I truly can’t understand this situation where outside forces are constantly interfering with us and trying to block us. I don’t understand it… and I feel like I’m being forced to try to understand it. What exactly is supposed to be “for our benefit”? What does it even mean to help us grow? I honestly just cannot understand it at all. And why do our fans, our Bunnies, who found comfort in us and built happy, joyful memories together with us, have to go through something like this? Why do they have to worry about things they shouldn’t even have to worry about? I feel so sorry, and it feels like such a waste. On top of that, they even brought up the work that represented the relationship between us and Bunnies… the things that allowed us to coexist and support each other. At this point, we don’t want to hear anything else. And I… I don’t want to conform to, agree with, or follow the values of the society those people belong to. That’s not the direction I believe in at all. That’s why I chose not to go down that path.

I’ve never understood why the police h*te vigilantes when we do a better job than they do at arresting people. Tonight I was supposed to be at the Seahawks game in Seattle. But as you saw the train did not make it there. Turns out the trailblazers are at home! So I still got to go to a cool other team game. And guess what at least 15 Oregon fans came up to me and didn’t even fake talk trash they just said welcome. It was awesome. Reminded me of Kansas City, Minneapolis, and Green Bay where people were just like treating me like I was family and they don’t even know me. I love taking these sports trips. They’re so fun!!!!
