Crews are working on the North edge to keep the fire from flanking around the Kane Fire burn scar from 2023. On the southwest they are hoping to see reduced spread due to the 2003 Poplar Fire burn scar. No residences under evacuation, and the shelter in place was lifted around midnight last night. Fire Officials ask residents and the public to avoid the area as much as possible to not impede firefighter traffic. A TFR (Temporary Flight Restriction) is in place over the fire area. Drones are prohibited within the TFR. The trails in the area are also closed (Bonneville Trail, City Creek, Dry Creek, Red Butte). From Pueblo county line, to Mackenzie Junction, to Fremont county to the North.
