Here’s the crowd heading out of Eastern Market, many members of the national media and supporters from out of town mixed in with local supporters and campaign staff. Donavan McKinney and El-Sayed are stopping to talk with voters.

Not sure about “cool kids on the internet” but here are some coastal elites supporting Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign. Some here from Seattle and New York are about to join members of Abdul’s campaign on a walk from Eastern Market to Spirit Plaza.

U.S. Reps. Summer Lee of Pennsylvania and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts here in downtown Detroit stumping for Abdul El-Sayed

Yousef Jackson, Jesse Jackson’s son, here stumping for El-Sayed. He reminds the crowd his father won the state of Michigan as a presidential candidate in 1988.

Pressley: “We just marked our 250th anniversary. The next 250 years must be different.”

Sebastian Javadpoor, Cait Camelia and Durga Sreenivasan paid their own way from NYC to support Abdul in the last days of his primary campaign. Camelia, the founder of Hot Girls for Zohran, says it’s important to connect with people who actually live here.

Flying in a bunch of out of state bros to campaign for him is a pretty wild final message

Where is Abdul getting the money to pay these out of state content creators?

Too bad Abdul’s wife doesn’t treat the middle class or the poor! SHE ACCEPTS NO INSURANCE!!

I wish I could fly all over the country to support my favs but I’m working class.

I hate leftists. Always campaigning. Always protesting. Always trying to "change the world" with their lame-ass failing ideas. They want medicare for all? Why doesn't CA provide that? They have plenty of money? Why can't they pay for free healthcare for their citizens?

coastal nepo kids with resources get to tell working class michiganders what to do lol

Paid to fly out, and paid to BE STUPID!! SELL THE EVIL LIES

“Michigan grassroots”

More politically illiterate larpers

I wonder how much El-Sayed paid them with the dark money his campaign gets.

I’m sorry, but how does this help him?

Nothing says VOTE FOR El-Sayed like a few RACISTS, CORRUPT, HAMAS SUPPORTING, AMERICA HATING Congress "open borders", DEFUND police and ICE politicians!!!

And Michigan voters I guess are going to let people outside of Michigan decide their primary. Abdul is going to lose the seat to the GOP from the outside and DSA. Pathetic

Yes by “a change in our politics” they mean they’re actually considering voting this time instead of sitting on their fucking hands every November

"change in our politics" = communism

Thanks for helping us out.

Most of Abdul’s endorsement came from out of State . Now they are importing people from out of state to knock on doors . If your campaign depends on importing activists from outside the state, it raises a fair question: are you building genuine local support, or importing a political movement that doesn’t reflect the community you’re asking to represent

But they don't care about beating Republicans

Goofballs

sheeesh just an endless stream of #AbdulBros ... one douche after another insufferable, unserious, privileged and off-putting

They, like the Democrats, lie when they say we need to get money out of politics, what they really mean is they want to block funding access to any candidate that isn’t DSA. DSA may be getting small donations from individuals but they’re also getting millions from Billionaires here in the US and from billionaires in China and other countries hostile to the US.

These guys and a bunch of others are collectively known to me as "those jubilee guys." They do a hell of a job cooking Maga clowns on there tho.

They should just stay there

@Miriam2626 Communism appeals to the weak minded.

He is funded by terrorists but with that beard I'm sure that guy is too

@daveweigel

He's like a center left capitalist...

Rupert Pupkin!

Tagline should be how much these LA influencers are getting paid ?

He looks inbred

Of course two Islamists came to town for this

Literally flying in out of state civilian ops bc they dont have local support. Carpet bagging used to be a taboo
