Pretty solid. Lovely times!

I think this beats setting up Android Studio

Check also @sweetpad_dev extension for iOS development

does it work on a windows machine?

Great, but ... I installed the extension, but I’m getting this error. Why is this happening? Is there a solution?

Making it be it's own window will be cool just like a normally simulator and also Making it look more real

This is going to be great feature. But I am curious how much of a computer ram this will eat

As a mobile developer this is what I want 😩❤🔥

I’m guessing you have to still be on Mac to be able to run iOS simulator?

Decided to give this a try and it's already saved me so much hassle. Really smooth update

Beautiful!!

Very useful, especially to run the android emulators directly inside the VS Code.

Yeee finally!!! No more needing to reside vscode window to fit emulator on the side. Thank you so much @code

Couldn't see any runtime to choose rrom nor device type

Goodbye Android Studio, you won't be missed.

Just we need 64gb ram 🫠

This is a massive workflow win. Running Android and iOS emulators directly inside your editor means no more alt-tabbing between a million windows. Honestly, this stays stable without eating all my RAM, it's going to be a total game-changer 🙌

Finally, Thank you to all the team members involved in bringing this to live.

issue 1: the canvas stacks on the loading view even after the simulator has fully booted (verified directly with the idb CLI). the loading view only disappears when clicking the Home button (sometimes needs twice clicks).

tomo una eternidad, ahora la gente usas smart glasses, ya no mas telefonos

So what's better between android studio and vs code on building mobile app

This would seriously be helpful.

@frxnsix_ come and see o

This super amazing

@SamuelAyo__

Mobile control right inside VS Code, neat

This is the only thing I am required to do for now. Let me try.

Okay this is actually sick, I’ve been waiting for something like this. Does it work with Flutter hot reload too?

Okay. I'm excited!

This is such a useful workflow upgrade. Having mobile apps right inside VS Code saves a ton of context switching.

Really happy to see this project getting recognized by VS Code! 🚀 Glad I could contribute to it. Open source is definitely one of the best ways to learn, build, and grow. 🔥 @code

I assume I could link my ide to a mobile app when I first saw this 😔

It use the installed simulator or emulator 🙃. What is the new thing 😂

Finally!

Solid moves
