Cool it on the tab hopping 🐇 Reviewing agent code usually means switching tabs. The GitHub Copilot app puts the diff, terminal, and browser side by side to check, run, and preview.

Tab hopping just got a whole lot cooler 😂. Thanks, GitHub, for merging the party!

The winning interface for agentic coding is less about tabs and more about shared state: diff, test output, browser behavior, and rollback in one auditable loop.

tab hopping is the only cardio i get tho 😭

Does the agent suggest which tab to look at next, or do you decide?

@github My account is suspended. Appeal: #4809517. ~90% of my Executigo project is still unpublished in a GitHub Codespace. Please help preserve/recover the Codespace data and advise on next steps. Thank you.

Diff, terminal and browser side by side is how agent review should feel. When an agent says a fix works, I want to rerun its test and click through the page before reading the diff closely. One view makes that habit cheap.

Amazing! It's all in one single tab!

I'd take side-by-side review over another model bump. Agents ship fine; catching bad diffs mid-tab-hop is the real bottleneck.

Reviewing agent code across three tabs is the usual mess. Putting the diff, terminal, and browser in one Copilot view is the layout that actually keeps you in the loop.

This is an important direction for agentic software development. Bringing the diff, terminal, browser and agent session into one review surface reduces context switching -but it also makes the next assurance boundary more visible: DIFF REVIEWED ≠ CHANGE CORRECT TEST PASSED ≠ INTENDED EFFECT VERIFIED BROWSER PREVIEW WORKS ≠ PRODUCTION STATE VERIFIED AGENT ACTION OBSERVED ≠ AGENT ACTION AUTHORIZED The interesting next step is preserving the evidence chain from agent action → change → test → observed effect → review → merge → post-merge verification. Better visibility is valuable. Verifiable project reality is the next layer.

This is the kind of workflow improvement that actually matters. Less tab switching = less friction when reviewing agent code.

Diff, terminal and preview side by side is great for the code. But who checks what the merge turns into? Headers, redirects, DNS and cert expiry never show up in a diff, yet a stranger sees them first. Should agents re-check the live site after deploy too?

side-by-side views let you verify agent actions without losing context in the diff.

Side-by-side review helps — still lock a Done line before the agent opens the loop. Diff + terminal + preview without an acceptance edge just makes the open loop prettier.

I'd want each test result tied to the exact working-tree snapshot it ran on, with a stale marker after the agent edits again. A commit SHA alone won't cover uncommitted changes.
