People keep asking me if he’s my successor and how I see his performances this season at Real. I’m really happy that this year he’s finally getting a lot more playing time. I think he’s definitely a player you can build on for the future. I don’t really like to make comparisons – Arda is a different type of player than I am. His best position is clearly more attacking, so it’s not really about being a successor. But overall, I’m just really happy for him. I think with the increased role of knowing he’s gonna be out there every night, and his confidence being able to grow because he’s seeing the game the right way, he understands how he can be effective. Multi-faceted scorer in unorthodox ways — great footwork, touch, and he shoots the ball really well. He does a lot of things that help connect the game, and it’s just good basketball at the end of the day.
