>obscured plates >admits to having flippable plates >"bro im parked" >bike at gas pump with engine on pumping gas what's with bikers and an insane victim complex while being dicks when they bait cops with blatantly illegal actions and end up being successful

I would have died if he would have skated as soon as he got his key!🤣

🤣

The cop just did his job. He verified and gave him back his stuff. Just comply and be fine with it

How did he get there? Teleport? Stop being a dick. You got called out. Own it. Stop trying to make it like you're the victim. You're hiding your plate. That's all he needs. That creates reasonable suspicion and gives him probable cause. Don't like it? Don't cover your plate.

I hate how cops act sometimes but this one was actually being pretty chill

Actually, this is why people get into trouble. Just comply.

textbook unlawful seizure of property. that dudes career is over. that why he's so nervous.

Deputy TOOK his Key. Unlawful Seizure. Press Charges !

Why is the license plate flipped up to pump gas? License plate is on back, gas tank in front. What is the purpose of that? I don't think being in a parking lot doesn't give you immunity. Cop had a reason to stop and question him and yes, he was trying to be an ass hole.

Why do bikers hide they plate tho

There is the letter of the law, and the spirit of the law. Is it legal to hide your plate while on private property, maybe, is it normal, no. Normal people do not hide their plate only while fueling, you have made yourself suspicious.

The biker is an ashole. You got caught with your plate covered while filling gas with the engine running. Just lucky the cop didn't see you driving. So take it on the chin and praise you luck

This police officer had no valid authority to stop that individual. Absent a specific statutory grant or exception, a police officer generally cannot stop a person on private property for a traffic violation that was not observed on a public roadway.

Love how he tries to pretend it was a consensual encounter at the end, as if the first thing he did wasn't to steal the guy's keys.

Looks like an armed carjacking to me.

Bike nerd is a loser, don't be a cuck.

Why would anyone try to hide the reg plate only when pumping gas? Its possible he intended to leave without paying, and that's the reason for hiding his number plate. Sounds like the cop was 100% in the right if that's happened before, and it sounds like it has.

Just curious, can anybody point to a SINGLE DOCUMENTED CASE where a cop at a routine traffic stop just reaches into somebody's car and pulls the keys out of the ignition? Or is this just yet another "I never miss an opportunity to be as big of an asshole as possible" situation?

“Just comply” 1. He should’ve never touched his motorcycle, that’s strike 1. 2. Being at a gas station isn’t on a public roadway, you can’t just twist things to make it fit your narrative, strike 3. Lied about the reason for a traffic stop, that’s strike 3! Should’ve pulled off!

"I stopped and searched you and seized your property because I want to ID you in case you commit a crime in the future"

It's unbelievable the cop said "You have something that indicates you like to hide your identity." You see how normalised privacy is treated as suspicious activity and not a fundamental right.

Why would his bike be running when pumping gas?

The biker is the asshole. He's not on his private property, he's at a gas station, filling up, and it was reasonable for the cop to ask to see the registration because the license plate was covered up.

Cop was just doing his job, dude on the motorcycle, as is usually the case, is a punk. He didn't put the license plate flip up device on his bike for any legitimate legal reason.

Pig seen and easy mark.

Bullshit stop no reasonable articulation. And taking the keys out of the bike was illegal. don’t care if you have a problem with playing the stuff that if you no right to touch other people’s property…🧐 very poorly conducted stop .

The instant the key gets taken, the only response is… “Since I am being detained, I don’t answer questions. Have a nice day. “

So if any green bikes flee, they will arrest you without any evidence it was actually you. No that is far from legal

Rider was a bit of an arse too. Bikes with flipable plates should be seized immediately, there is no other reason to have them other than to break the law and get away without being identified. Riders like this are the reason the rest of us get hassled all the time.

That's why I love videos like this. only accountability they ever have.

For all the idiots with internet law licenses, Ozaukee County is in Wisconsin, and the relevant Wisconsin law provides: "(2) Registration plates shall be attached firmly and rigidly in a horizontal position and conspicuous place. The plates shall at all times be maintained in a legible condition and shall be so displayed that they can be readily and distinctly seen and read. Any peace officer may require the operator of any vehicle on which plates are not properly displayed to display such plates as required by this section."

Probable causes. Sitting on running bike while fueling (fire danger) Concealing plate with running bike in a shop that sells fuel (suspicious behaviour). Refused a lawful instruction to remove his helmet to be identifiable from the cruiser’s screen photo. More?
