Percentage If you enter 50% and the trader bets $100, your trade will be $50. Portfolio-weighted If the trader risks 10% of their portfolio, you will also risk 10% of yours. What I recommend Use Fixed amount If the trader uses market orders and makes fewer than 10 trades per day. Use Portfolio-weighted If the trader uses limit orders and makes more than 10 trades per day. I personally do not use percentage mode. Final setup steps Set the maximum copy amount (based on your portfolio size and risk management) Set a price range I usually use 30c–90c to avoid risky trades Always adjust this based on the specific trader Set slippage I use 5% Click Confirm After this, the bot will mirror every trade automatically. So... The biggest mistake beginners make is chasing big PnL wallets. High numbers look attractive, but they mean nothing. Whales play with size, hedge across markets, and their 5% edge turns into dust when you mirror it. You’re not here to make $5 a day, right? What you actually want are ALPHA wallets. Start with behavior, not balance. The sweet spot is traders doing ~100-200 trades per month. Active, but not bots. Enough trades to smooth variance, not so many that execution kills you. Next is history. At least 2-3 months of consistent performance. Zoom out the PnL curve. You want steady growth, not wild spikes. Starting capital should match yours, otherwise you won’t replicate results. Then look at market selection. Good traders build positions over time. They don’t scalp the same market every hour. Even better if they specialize: > politics > weather > sports > macro Niche focus beats everything else. Win rate matters, but context matters more. Around 70% over many trades is ideal. Losses are fine. Red days are fine. A green curve over time is what pays. Now the most important part. To actually see all this, you need tools. Use Polymarket Analytics to check win rate, PnL, and trades. Open the website, click on traders and use my filters: > Overall PnL from $20,000 to $300,000 > At least 1 active position > At least 5 total positions > Win Rate over 70% This step alone filters out 90% of garbage wallets. I’ve built an order execution tool specifically for IB users. The open-source code is available on GitHub, but since most traders probably prefer something simple and ready to use, I also made an executable (.exe) version and uploaded it to Google Drive. This order execution tool can automatically retrieve your account balance and calculate position size based on your specified risk %. You can choose to set the stop loss at the LOD (low of the day) or enter it manually. The tool automatically places stop orders according to your stop level, one stop or 3 stops Why three stop orders? You can refer to Jeff Sun, CFTe Jeff Sun’s article for the reasoning behind this risk management approach. It also comes with customizable hotkeys for quick and efficient order placement. In the demo video, I used a virtual keyboard to show you how it works in real time. Lastly, this tool is completely free to use.
