Cornell 7 sexual assault case update Chris Cuomo interviewed Cornell victim Doe's attorney. Below is that interview. As we look at both sides of the pancake, it's important to take in everything available. Note that some are saying the New York civil court filing names DOE. It doesn't. The...

Their were NO charges filed to begin w/bcuz of her own admissions. I don't know how I feel about this. The whole thing was gross on the guys part but she seemed fairly willing until money got involved. She wasnt passed out she was engaging in drug use and sex w/2 at a time.

Good points. But did she consent with the others? Because she freely took the drugs that inebriated her, due to New York law, she may be without a defense.

Well she didn't say NO did she? No where in her statement does she ever say she said NO

Was that after her original statement when they didnt press charges? Because what I read she didn't. She may have in her new filings.

Her names Lucy Craig she shouldn't be called Jan Doe. She wants to name all the men then her name should be viral as well

She was a victim. No one on copious amounts of alcohol and drugs including ketamine which is a known date rape drug, can consent to what happened to her. It’s very common to think in the beginning what happened was your fault especially with the memory being hazy.

I’m withholding any commentary at this point. Three sides to every story.

The fix is in now. Kathy Hochul just appointed Letitia James as special prosecutor. Letitia will find a crime even if she has to plant evidence.

Based on what I’ve read, it seems no one involved at that frat house that night was behaving appropriately, including the female. I see this for what it is-stoking division before the midterms. Both sides of the aisle have been gearing up on X. You can’t ignore it.

Thank you for this. We are in such desperate need to be able to see both things, in my opinion. Legally, the law may block the consent after substances issue, which is separate from calling despicable behavior despicable. If someone is inebriated and under the influence, where are the men that see the issue of the HUMAN lack of real consent there?? This is also part of the conversation.

This case is hard for me to comprehend. Jane Doe was accepted into a prestigious university and went to a frat party, taking illegal Ketamine (an anesthesia drug) and other substances believing she is safe?

The case gives away her name indirectly as the attorney appearing pro hac vice is from Birmingham where the individual that has been named is from and she went to Cornell and was a tridelt. No matter the outcome I’m sad as a father of 2 daughters.

No matter what the facts are, unfortunately, the media and the propaganda machine are going to run in only 1 direction. It's so disheartening that truth, facts don't really matter once the media is spin has started. I agree that these guys were gross and their behavior was awful, however the media and the TikTok propaganda machine won't care about the text messages she sent and anything else that contradicts the spin on the story.

Here’s the thing with cases like these. There is how the evidence will hold up in court and then there are the acts. One does not necessarily negate the other. Even if it becomes a legal nothing burger, it doesn’t mean it was a nothing burger.

What those boys did was disgusting, she consented to their disgusting behavior and even said afterword's she enjoyed it with at least two of the men. She seemed to have bragged about it to her friends as if it was a badge of honor something to check off her college experiance

Too many variables in this case, my own personal assumptions aside, not sure what will happen or can happen. It’s in the hands of social media now 😵‍💫

Social media has exploded in rage at a group of seven college students who have been accused of gang raping another student back in 2024 at Cornell University. The purported victim, identified only as Jane Doe, has filed a civil lawsuit against both these students and the university. Unfortunately for Jane Doe, she gave a sworn statement to police back in 2024 that details a lengthy saga of depraved, degenerate sexual behavior and drug use, but suggests that all the appalling sexual conduct was consensual and therefore not criminal. The line prosecutor declined to prosecute the young men based on that statement, but social media outrage has led to the reopening of the case, and New York Governor Kathy Hochul replacing the line prosecutor with Letitia James, the current attorney general of New York. My guest on this episode of Counterweight is Heather Mac Donald (Heather Mac Donald) , the Thomas W. Smith Fellow at the Manhattan Institute. A contributing editor of City Journal, and the New York Times bestselling author of The War on Cops. She has been writing about campus rape hoaxes and about the bizarre sexual culture on college campuses for decades. She walks through what Jane Doe is accusing these young men of, why the accusation does not hold, and why they are innocent. We also talk about what conservatives can do about the Bacchanal on campus and how to push these schools back towards actually educating their students.

The Cornell 7 case is getting a lot of attention on social media. Before I dive in, I want to make clear that I wasn’t there. I don’t know what happened. But I will say that posting “free pussy” in a group chat and having group sex with an inebriated girl is disgusting even if she did consent. Here are my early thoughts on what will happen with the case: I’m a former prosecutor who now represents victims, including filing civil lawsuits on behalf of rape victims. I believe them, and I understand the psychology of sexual assault and why such a small percentage of perpetrators are ever brought to justice. But when a District Attorney issues a public and detailed statement explaining why your own client’s statement shows she consented to the sexual activity, that’s bad for your case. Now why the DA would take a dump on a civil lawsuit to defend his office is a different question altogether, but maybe he felt there was too much pressure not to explain why he didn’t file charges. The DA saying the victim consented is a problem because unless you’re a minor or otherwise incapacitated (more on this below), consent is always a defense to sexual activity no matter how gross it is (like in the Diddy trial). So here, Jane Doe’s lawyer needs to argue that her previous statement or the DA’s interpretation thereof was wrong, which will be difficult. The better approach is to argue that Jane Doe was incapable of giving consent because she was in a k-hole or otherwise under the influence of alcohol and ketamine. Ketamine is a tranquilizer and dissociative after all. The defense, of course, will argue that this is regret, not rape, and a money grab. That’s what they always do. Based on the very limited evidence that has been made public so far, including the civil complaint, Snapchat screenshot, and DA summary of Jane Doe’s statement, I do not think the grand jury indicts, and I do not think we see criminal charges in this case. In fact, I think the DA is presenting the case to the grand jury so they return a no bill and give him political cover for not prosecuting the case. Think Nolan Wells and how the pressure subsided when the grand jury didn’t indict. With respect to the civil case, I think Cornell has a number of substantive defenses regarding foreseeability, superseding criminal acts, and comparative negligence, but I still think they settle this case quickly, confidentially, and for good money to make the public relations nightmare go away. It’s no secret that drug and alcohol use is rampant at fraternities and sororities, and sexual assault is a huge problem at universities. The last thing Cornell wants is discovery into the steps it takes to protect young women on campus and for talking heads like me to open cable news shows discussing the allegations that one of their former students was gang raped. Once the deep-pocket university settles, the remaining individual and entity defendants will resolve as well. If this is TLDR, I spoke to CNN about the legal strategy in the case by Jane Doe’s lawyer, the defense, and the prosecution.

Final piece of evidence connects Lucy Craig via her hometown to a lawyer on Jane Doe's lawsuit, supporting the theory that she is Cornell's Jane Doe, my thoughts that this is a cynical play for money and fame, and, critically, that Jane Doe is a rapist and should be exposed We cannot confirm beyond a doubt, but in this video i go into evidence connecting Doe to Craig and recount Cornell fraternity members alleging it is Craig Worth noting, her enrollment date and age in August of 2022 don't align with Lucy's HS graduation year or her birthday, but her bday does align with her age at the time of this ordeal In other words, it's super unlikely it is someone else, and, if it is, that means that for two years Jane Doe has known that Lucy Craig was being identified as this girl and is still letting it go on to this day instead of trying to clear the air Suppose that Craig isn't Doe, that would mean that Craig likely left the university because Doe didn't clear these rumors However, sororities don't let this stuff go, if one sorority sister was falsely accused of this stuff then the others would ensure that the truth gets out instead of losing two sisters So, all things considered, I personally think it's likely Craig is Doe, but we can't know definitively unless someone comes forward. But we know that Craig is tied to both Birmingham and NYC with her lawyers and matches the other characteristics, all available on her public instagram, which I think indicates that she wants the attention

NIGERIANS, THIS TINUBU CHICAGO CASE JUST TOOK A NEW TURN. 👀 Take your mind off the FBI filing for a moment. Focus on this VIDEO evidence. What makes this video particularly interesting is who is speaking. Von Batten-Montague-York, L.C. has just released another update on the Tinubu Chicago case. But unlike everything we’ve seen so far… This one isn’t a court document - it’s a video. Recorded at an APC political event in Nigeria. With President Tinubu present. And in that video, a man identified as Adewale Tinubu - reportedly President Tinubu’s nephew - publicly discusses the Chicago case. Now listen carefully to what he says. He reportedly states: “I did that case in Chicago. It was one of my first legal matters.” He then describes personally urging President Tinubu to settle the case. Interesting, right? But here is where things get VERY interesting. The official court record for that Chicago case identifies Patrick S. Coffey, Esq. as the attorney representing Tinubu. Not Adewale Tinubu. There is no court appearance under Adewale Tinubu’s name. No pleading bearing his name. No signature. No filing identifying him as counsel. At least, not in the official court record identified in this filing. So we have a very simple question: Why does a man publicly describe himself as having “done” the Chicago case when the official court record does not identify him as Tinubu’s attorney in that proceeding? There may be an explanation. Perhaps he was involved in some capacity that did not require appearing as counsel of record. Perhaps “I did that case” was being used loosely. Or perhaps there is something else we don’t yet know. That is precisely why this needs to be clarified. And this matters because of what is happening in the FBI FOIA case. Remember the last post I made on this case? Von Batten argued that Tinubu’s privacy position is weakened by the fact that the Nigerian Presidency itself publicly discussed the FBI records and the court case. Now there is another piece of public material. A VIDEO. At an APC political event. With Tinubu present. And his own reported nephew publicly discussing the Chicago case. So the question of privacy becomes even more interesting. Tinubu is asking a US federal court to protect records as private. Yet people within his own political and family circle are publicly discussing matters connected to the case. Can you claim something is private in court while people close to you are publicly discussing it? That is now an issue the court can potentially consider. And Von Batten is not simply posting the video on social media. He is seeking to put the video transcript before the court as part of his supplemental evidentiary exhibits. If the court accepts the filing, the judge will have before her: ➡️ The FBI’s confirmation of 399 pages of responsive records ➡️ Investigative material involving surveillance, undercover operations, cooperating witnesses and other matters ➡️ Wiretap recordings the FBI says were compiled during an investigation involving heroin-trafficking crimes ➡️ Von Batten’s argument concerning the Nigerian Presidency’s public statement ➡️ And now, a video in which Tinubu’s reported nephew publicly discusses the Chicago case Think about that. This case has moved from: “What does the FBI have?” to: “What does the FBI have - and what have people connected to Tinubu publicly said about it?” And there is one question I really want answered: If Adewale Tinubu was involved in that Chicago case, in what capacity was he involved? Because the official court record identified in the filing does not show him as counsel of record. That discrepancy deserves an explanation. And if the video is being presented to a US federal court as evidence, the court can decide what weight, if any, to give it. We don’t need to speculate. We need to look at the documents. Watch the video. Read the transcript. Check the court record. And ask the questions. We deserve the truth.

In light of the names Anneke Lucas mentioned, like the former Canadian prime minister who is dead now, but is the father of the current one. It is being shared all over the internet now. Canadian accounts are posting this, and it is getting lots of attention. This is also a wake-up call for Canada. A lot of people in Canada are commenting on social media that they are shocked by this guy being named. But actually he was already mentioned by Cathy O'Brien in 1995, as being involved in these networks! See the video below. So there is corroboration between these witnesses. A lot of these former and now deceased prime ministers she mentions were, at that time that she was in it in the 70s, involved in this. Also the Belgian one that Anneke names, and was also named by other witnesses. Which tells us, like these witnesses say, this was a global network. So the truth was already out there a bit, but it is coming out more for a bigger public. We will have more revelations coming out in 2025 about these dark dealing that have been going on at the highest levels, I'm sure. This is going to be a shock for a lot of people that are new to this information, because it is reaching a bigger public. Some will choose not to believe it, do no research, and look no further. But a lot more people will wake up to this, it is unstoppable. Of course, we have to check in with our own vibration. If it gets too heavy, take some time out and go for a walk in nature. Whilst revelations are important for the truth to come out, and confronting hard information is part of that, we have to check with our selves how this information is affecting us, and sometimes we need a time off. It is always most important to maintain a healthy balance between checking in with this information and our own peace of mind. #Epstein #PBDpodcast

Andrew Tate - Uncovering the Truth The case against Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate has received significant media attention and has raised important questions about the role of prosecutors and the criminal justice system in cases of this nature. Many people have expressed concern that the case against the brothers is based on weak evidence and may be politically motivated. Some have even gone as far as to suggest that the case is an attempt to silence the brothers. The investigation began 1 year ago, and they have been in preventative detention for 4 months ago. Despite the passage of time, the prosecutor has failed to file charges against them, and the case remains unresolved. The brothers have vehemently denied the allegations against them and have consistently maintained their innocence. Despite the challenges they have faced, the brothers have remained resilient and have continued to fight for their rights and their freedom. Throughout the investigation, the prosecutor has used various underhanded tactics, including leaking snippets of information from the case, private communications with family and attorneys, and other such tactics to build a case against the brothers. However, despite these efforts, the prosecutor has been unable to create a substantial case file. The reason for this is that the allegations made against the brothers are weak, lacking merit and substance. The allegations made by the women contain numerous inconsistencies and lack evidence, and the women themselves are not credible witnesses. CCTV footage and leaked messages have demonstrated that the women had complete freedom of movement, both physically and psychologically, which suggests that no human trafficking occurred. The CCTV footage clearly shows that the women were free to leave and return to the house without any interference from the brothers, indicating physical freedom of movement. Additionally, leaked messages suggest that the women had access to people outside of Romania, they had their passports, and they used Uber regularly, which shows that they had psychological freedom. Regarding the alleged offense of rape, at least three witnesses have categorically stated that it was consensual. There is no other evidence, and the woman who made the claim did so weeks after leaving Romania, which further weakens her case. Several alleged victims have publicly stated that they are not victims, but the prosecutor has ignored their claims and included them as victims. This suggests that the prosecutor is unwilling to accept evidence that contradicts their narrative, which is concerning. The claim made against the brothers was that they brainwashed the women, but the psychiatrist never spoke to the women in question to make such a determination. Instead, the psychiatrist relied on the word of two women from the UK and US to make the determination, which is a biased and flawed process. The prosecutor attempted to bolster the claim despite the lack of evidence, indicating that the case against the brothers is paper-thin. It is unclear when the case against the brothers will be resolved, but one thing is certain: the outcome will have significant implications for the criminal justice system in Romania and beyond. Many are watching this case closely, and the world is waiting to see what will happen next. The brothers continue to maintain their innocence and to fight for their rights. They have vowed to clear their names and to expose the injustices that have been perpetrated against them. Initially, many believed that the brothers were guilty of the allegations against them, but upon closer examination of the evidence, leaks, and reporting, it is clear that the case against them is weak. It is important to ensure that justice is served. This case has highlighted the importance of due process and fair trials, and it has reminded us that everyone, regardless of their status or reputation, is entitled to a fair hearing and a fair trial.

Speculation that the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Rhoose will be used to house Afghans is deeply concerning. I've been contacted by several constituents about this, who are understandably and legitimately concerned. There have also been several reports on social media. As an elected member representing the area, authorities have told me nothing about this. To the best of my knowledge, there has been no public statement issued by the Ministry of Defence. This is unacceptable. Speculation has been ongoing for several days, and an information vacuum has inevitably developed. I therefore wanted to take the opportunity to explain the actions I have undertaken to address this. I have written to the MOD asking them to clarify the situation urgently. To clarify my position, if speculation is correct, I would strongly and categorically oppose the hotel being used for suggested purpose. It is not suitable to provide accomodation of this nature. The hotel was built to provide accomodation for airport passengers. As a result, the vast majority of guests would, in practice, stay at the hotel for a maximum of one night, either before or after their flight. As such, they would not access local NHS services, schools or other public services. This would not be the case if the hotel is used in the manner suggested. By contrast, it would put huge pressure on local amenities and other public services. It is also situated close to a new college that is set to open. If the reports are true, then the plans would have been developed without any consultation with residents. This too would be unacceptable. They should be afforded the opportunity to provide feedback, have their say and raise any concerns they may have. When I receive further updates, I will update residents accordingly. Be assured I will always put the local community first.
