🛑Classical indications for a coronary CT angiography are the following : 🔶️congenital coronary artery anomalies  🔶️preoperative assessment in the setting of non-coronary cardiac surgery 🔶️coronary artery disease 📍chronic coronary syndrome 🔷️rule out significant luminal stenosis 🔷️coronary atherosclerotic plaque evaluation 🔷️acute coronary syndrome without ECG changes and negative troponin 🔷️surgical or interventional planning of chronic coronary occlusions 🔷️patency assessment of coronary bypass grafts in symptomatic individuals 🔷️alternative if invasive coronary angiography (ICA) is not possible or carries a high risk 🔶️unclear findings after invasive coronary angiography (ICA) 🔶️visualisation of cardiac veins.
