Corps members, driver, and other passengers kidnapped while travelling. An unspecified number of travellers have been kidnapped on Nigeria's independence day. According to reports, at least 2 commercial buses were affected. The passengers and drivers were reportedly taken away by armed kidnappers.

The new strategy of these kidnappers now, is to shot at drivers while they are on speed. If the driver still manages the bullet to drive, they will pursue the car until the bullet reacts, and the driver stops. This was reported to have happened to GUO yesterday. They killed the driver, left the small girl there, and kidnapped all the passengers. This is the reason for the Law on self defense. If the driver had a gun or any of the passengers, the kidnappers wouldn’t certainly have their way. They only thing they have that good and law abiding citizens don’t have are guns. The passengers might never be rescued and just imagine the poor little girl who will be traumatized for life.
