Could Alberta separation gain serious traction? Some commentators dismiss it, but 30% support without a leader is huge. Imagine a Preston Manning-like figure stepping up. That 30% could easily hit 50-60%.

Support for #AlbertaSeparation is far higher. & hinges extensively on who wins the federal election next week. If Liberals win, support will skyrocket. But even if the Conservatives win & things do not change, #Alberta separation will become inevitable as younger generations overwhelm the older in future elections. A reckoning is coming.

Another liberal government led by Carney will be the red line. Alberta may leave confederation either way but another liberal government will speed it up 10 fold. As i see it Poilievre is a unifying figure and Carney needs wedges and division. Need proof look at liberal voters

Or better yet, a leader like YOU, Keith Wilson. Don't get me wrong, I think Preston is great but he is yesterday's news. You have been fighting some of the toughest, most important, conservative battles for a long time eg. Property Rights, now the Trucker trials & others. You have the gravitas that is necessary to lead this fight. Besides, you won't live with yourself if you allow this most imperiled moment in Alberta history to pass without putting up a fight for #AlbertaIndependence. I've got a big bank account and nothing better to do with it than support a strong person to lead the fight of our lifetime. Tell me you will be that person @KeithWilson.

I am working the phones in BC for my local CPC candidate. I am not exaggerating when I say that many feel the urge to express how much they despair for Canada if Carney wins and their intention to leave if he does. Some are looking at South America and quite a few don't know where to go but say they are watching Alberta. You need to consider seriously making it attractive for the many Canadians outside of Alberta who wish to escape Canada, to move there.

Yes...I could see it happening. Carney gets it power, few more laws passed Bill C63, no pipeline built, some kind of fight picked between the Fed and AB, Quebec gets even more $$$. All you need is a leader and it would be a done deal. The reason in Quebec they talk openly on the news about seperation..everyone knows it will never happen...Quebec will never have a referendum with a clear question like "Do you want to separate? Yes-No". In Alberta...there is a real possibility of independance or of joining the USA...in fact the best thing for AB and SK would be to join the USA...they would be 25% richer in just a matter of years...so the reason the Canadian media never interviews anyone or really discusses the issue is because it could turn into a real possibility...

Absolutely agree! That 30% is a significant indicator of sentiment. With the right leadership, Alberta separation could really take off. Exciting times ahead!

You could be just the person. Fyi is more like 35% to 40%. I trust the Mainstreet poll commissioned by Rachel Parker more than the Angus Reid Poll. It was focus in on Alberta.

If Carney gets in, so many will move to Alberta and give you the 50%+ that you need. I believe Pierre will win, but if not, I’m not staying in a Liberal shit hole any longer.

Hey Keith. We learned from the Wexit days that former crown politicians are compromised train wrecks who will drive our work into the ground. (ie. Jay Hill) But if a selfless professional was to step up…. Like say a lawyer who proved himself by representing the Canadian Freedom Convoy, that would be better.

30% is on the very low end. Western standard commissioned a survey that had it at 45% and main street did one at 40%.
