Chatgpt replaces google the day it stops hallucinating links and starts paying for real-time web access.

the real transition isn't google → llm, it's search as a concept to reasoning as a service. you don't want a ranked list anymore, you want the answer. that's a harder moat to defend than link clicks

Reposts are appreciated ♥️

Never fully

according to me people prefer getting direct info instead of links for their queries

Google gives that stupid AI insight unless asked not to specifically. If that’s the case and there is not way to turn that off by default I rather ask chat GPT.

GPT is already losing to a Gemini PRO

just like he said the use case will be what matters. For simple questions that don’t require going to websites, Chatgpt/Gemini will definitely replace search engines. But for tasks that requires you using websites, going to blogs and so on, Google still remains the GOAT 🐐

@abhilostsoul Everything is replaceable

Nope

Google is already prepared for to fight this apocalypse, when ChatGPT was launched everyone laugh on their Bard Ai, today their Gemini is giving tough competition, especially its Nano Banana have created benchmark for using Photoshop in quick-easy consumer friendly way.

i don’t think so

Yes .. check world coin .

Honestly, it’s wild how much it’s starting to feel that way. The way things are going, I wouldn’t be surprised if it happens sooner than we think.

It already has… (LLM’s)

It has for me. Unless I’m looking for an actual web site.

Chatgpt wont replace google it replaced how we search. Google is for links and Chatgpt is for answers.

Nope

No it can not. Game for OpenAI will be over soon, and with it Nvidias dominance.

Is this man Sam Altman?

Why do American senators always sound like they have no idea how anything works?!

i think it has already replaced google search

I don't think so
