I can't get over how these hit me the same way as 25 years ago. First I feel overwhelming sadness for the victims & their families. THEN COMES THE RAGE.

Then it's not just me. Mine is the overwhelming sadness, the rage, and then I go numb.

heartbreaking..never, never forget "In 2006, officials gave the family two bones confirmed by DNA as his: a piece of a foot bone and most of the left femur. Those remains had been recovered from the World Trade Center site in 2002. His family had them cremated and scattered over the ocean."

My sister helped with rescue and recovery during/after 9/11. She was NYPD sergeant detective (retired now). She even went over to Staten Island to help with continued recovery after. So many cared. Thank you for sharing this. ❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely remember this couple…..I believe that they had recently found out, that they were going to have a baby. I think the family launched a foundation, in the years after.

You're right. Brent Woodall's daughter, Pierce, was born six months after he died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In 2003, Brent Woodall's widow, Tracy, established the Brent Woodall Foundation for Exceptional Children to support the families of children with autism and developmental disabilities.
