🇨🇦⚖️🤡 : Justice Minister Sean Fraser admits there are already numerous laws to deal with hate-based crimes but wants to pass another bill to protect Canadians against “hate”. A term Liberals will define and make numerous exemptions for. 🇬🇧🕌It will be used like we see in the UK to target people critical of the government and groups that prey on certain communities, like grooming gangs that target children. The 2 lesbian women attacked by a throng of Muslim men on the streets of Halifax was virtually ignored by the Liberals & NDP. The police arrested no one, despite the violent bloody assault being captured on video. The Muslim youth simply walked away from the police, with only one of the men providing ID. We didn’t need a “hate” bill to protect those women. We needed the police & justice system to act. We have real crimes being committed where the individuals doing the violent assaults are routinely released back into the community. Yesterday I posted about how 40 people in Vancouver were arrested 6,000 times in 1 year. Isn't that an act of hatred to society when people can openly break laws so freely and have no real consequence for it? We have witnessed the glorification of terrorism across Canada for years, including people chanting "Death to Canada", while praising terrorism in Vancouver and our government refused to prosecute those people. So it's flat out absurd to think this Bill is anything more than a targeted assault on free speech and average Canadians who demand accountability for actual hate crimes. Bill C-63 was promoted as protecting children. When the Liberals couldn't ram though their censorship bill based on that, they ditched even pretending it's about protecting kids. They are not trying to pass a bill to protect kids anymore, it's flat out about censorship. Remember Sean Fraser & the Liberals IMPORTED and promoted this hatred we see in Canada. They did it so they could pass laws that stifle real debate and criticism, like we see in the UK.

Canadians should never fear persecution for sincerely held beliefs. This is why I have fought Bill C-9 from the beginning. While the Liberals claim it provides protection, people of faith across Canada are reaching out by the thousands with deep concern about how this bill will impact their ability to practice their faith freely. The government is elected by the people, and it's time that they listen to the people who will be impacted by this legislation, instead they have taken every action to limit debate. As we approach the stage of the final vote, I will not support Bill C-9, because freedom is foundational to our democracy.

BREAKING: The U.S. House of Representatives has just passed the Laken Riley Act, 251-170. The law would require ICE to detain illegal aliens who are charged with theft. 170 Democrats voted against the bill, but the reason for that may not be what you think. We say 170 Democrats likely vote against it because the bill itself reads like an attack piece on Joe Biden and it seems to lack standing. If Republicans really wanted to make change, they should have left the political attacks out of the bill. You aren't going to get Democrats to support a bill that attacks Democrats. This is the problem with Congress today. They can't just pass laws without trying to demonize each other. What happened to Laken Riley shouldn't happen to anyone else. Let's work together to solve these issues.

I don’t do formal endorsements but Harman Bhangu is solid and has always been against child transition. As virtually every adult with any moral fortitude is. Why didn’t Kerry-Lynne Findlay listen to Lisa Bildy when she testified about Bill C-6? Kerry-Lynn Findlay was one of only 3 Conservatives who sat on the committee listening to all of the testimonies. She knew exactly what she was voting for when she voted to criminalize anyone who tries to help a trans-identified child to feel at peace with his or her sex. I spoke with Kerry-Lynn Findlay after that vote. I ran into her in the parking lot of Save-on Foods. We live in the same area and she was my representative. She told me, and I have audio of it, that she probably should have voted against it, but you know. It’s one of those things. She went on to vote for Bill C-4, the virtually identical bill. (C-6 was cancelled when the 2021 election was called. It had already passed the House, but the Senate hadn’t yet voted. It came back as C-4.) In other words, Kerry-Lynn Findlay is a politician. Not a truth-teller. British Columbians don’t need yet another politician.

In New Zealand, ordinary debate risks being labelled “hate.” This is what happens when governments pass vague hate laws. Canada already criminalizes genocide, hate propaganda, vandalism, and attacks on places of worship. Republican Dan Crenshaw just eviscerated fellow Republicans for voting against the bipartisan border reform bill that Biden has pushed: “I’m extremely disappointed in a very strange maneuvering by many on the right to torpedo a potential border reform bill. We have a bill that significantly decreases illegal immigration and we sabotage that. That is inconsistent with what we told our voters we would do.” One party is trying to solve the border control issue while the other party is trying to use it for political gain by not doing anything. Just ask Republicans who are honest.

I don‘t like to make even the mildest criticism of Pauline Hanson out of respect for what she has done over four decades. However, the criminalisation of political speech in Australia by this so-called “Hate Crimes" legislation is such an important issue, that I believe it’s fair enough to call out her "abstaining" as a terrible error of judgement. If One Nation had some issues with the Bill they should have fought and argued for amendments to the legislation to try and safeguard freedom of speech. The Bill should never have included groups holding "politician opinions" as one of the protected groups. The "good faith defence" should never have been removed. And with such a wide range of speech that new laws could apply to - from a minor technical breach to something very serious - "mandatory sentencing" should never have been part of this Bill. At the very least, amendments should have been moved to remove these provisions from the Bill. My advice to One Nation would be to admit error, say that you were distracted with other issues, and apologise for getting it wrong - rather than digging a deeper hole.

VOTED DOWN. Bill C-243: end the cycle that forces victims to relive their trauma at parole hearings year after year. Victims begged for this. VOTED DOWN. Bill C-242: the Jail Not Bail Act. Repeal catch and release for repeat violent offenders. VOTED DOWN. Tougher sentences for sex offenders? No. Accountability for foreign criminals? No. Mercy for victims? This is DISTURBING on so many levels. 1) This bill has been rushed and the views of Australians have not been considered. Overnight 2 million Australians emailed MPs with concerns about the bill via Turning Point Australia's portal and their views have been completed sidelined. 3. Labor has guillotined debate in the Senate which means there will not be proper time for debate as they have drastically cut debate time today so that a vote will be forced to happen. 4. Leaving aside the serious procedural defects in the way this has been rushed, there are bigger substantive problems with this bill as it gives the Minister for Home Affairs extraordinary new powers to designate a group of Australians a "hate group" and introducing 15 year prison sentences for anyone associated with the group. Of our political leaders Pauline Hanson 🇦🇺 is the only one who has remained consistently against these huge and unprecedented attacks on Australian freedom. On November 7, 2025, NDP MP Leah Gazan defended her push to criminalize so-called residential school “denialism.” Her original Bill C-413 did not pass. Then she came back with Bill C-254. That bill would amend the Criminal Code for statements about residential schools that politicians decide are “condoning,” “denying,” “downplaying,” “justifying,” or “misrepresenting facts.” Ask questions, you get attacked. Demand evidence, and they want the Criminal Code dragged into it. Canada was told 215 bodies were found at Kamloops. Years later, we are told about anomalies. But instead of proving the claim with evidence, the political class wants to punish people for questioning the narrative. Residential schools were real. Abuse was real. But asking for proof of a specific public claim is not hate. It is the bare minimum in a country that still pretends facts matter.

Free Speech is Dead Yesterday I managed to get in a three minute speech against the proposed hate laws before the bill was guillotined. Normally you’re allowed to speak for 15 minutes on the bill. I didn’t get a chance to explain just how draconian these laws are. Before this bill, prosecutors had to prove intent— that your words deliberately incited harm. Not anymore. The Criminal Code Amendment (Hate Crimes) Bill 2024 lowers the bar so drastically that you can now be jailed for reckless speech. "Reckless speech" without any intent is now criminalised. Even if you accidentally offend someone you can be charged, found guilty and go to prison. A number of amendments to put in safeguards were moved including: 1) Removing mandatory sentencing 2) Excluding children under 14 from the bill and 3) A good faith carve out to prevent these rules from being used as a form of lawfare to shut down debate such as any of the below statements could soon land you in prison. • Marriage should only be between a man and a woman. • The LGBTQIA2S+ lobby keeps pushing radical gender policies on our kids. Maybe it's time we show them we won't stand for it anymore. Let's take action! • We need to stop mass immigration and expect assimilation because it brings division and poverty to our country. • The idea that gender is entirely a social construct is not supported by biological science. Those groups forcing people to accept this concept are dangerous. The major parties and One Nation did not vote for any of these amendments. In fact Malcolm Roberts voted against the exemption for children under 14 year olds. Pauline didn’t turn up to vote on anything. This is not unusual as Pauline didn’t turn up last year to vote on the 30 bills rammed through parliament on the last sitting day including the Online Safety Bill. When I said in my clip yesterday that One Nation voted for the bill that was what I was referring to. They didn’t vote on the final vote but if they were serious about wanting more debate then they should have expressed their view through voting on the amendments. To claim they needed more detail was a cop out. Clearly they supported children under 14 getting locked up for saying something offensive. By voting against stopping this and not voting for other amendments, Malcolm indicated more support for the bill than opposition. As someone with three children under 14 I was furious that any politician would agree to this. These laws are another nail in the coffin of democracy in this country. #auspol

Let's take action! • We need to stop mass immigration and expect assimilation because it brings division and poverty to our country. • The idea that gender is entirely a social construct is not supported by biological science. Those groups forcing people to accept this concept are dangerous. The major parties and One Nation did not vote for any of these amendments. In fact Malcolm Roberts voted against the exemption for children under 14 year olds. Pauline didn’t turn up to vote on anything. This is not unusual as Pauline didn’t turn up last year to vote on the 30 bills rammed through parliament on the last sitting day including the Online Safety Bill. When I said in my clip yesterday that One Nation voted for the bill that was what I was referring to. They didn’t vote on the final vote but if they were serious about wanting more debate then they should have expressed their view through voting on the amendments. To claim they needed more detail was a cop out. Clearly they supported children under 14 getting locked up for saying something offensive. By voting against stopping this and not voting for other amendments, Malcolm indicated more support for the bill than opposition. As someone with three children under 14 I was furious that any politician would agree to this. These laws are another nail in the coffin of democracy in this country. #auspol

Liberal's Bill C-9 Combatting Hate Act gets an addition to it; "Everyone who, by communicating statements other than in private conversation, willfully promotes hatred against Indigenous peoples by condoning, denying, or downplaying the Indian residential school system: A) is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years; or B) is guilty of an offence punishable on summary conviction." Canada will now criminalize speech based on political motivation and feelings.

Not one single person who turned up the protest against the Live Births Bill answered my question about why they were there and what they were protesting against. Even the co-founder of the SA Abortion Action Coalition refused to answer my question. I think it's because there is no rational explanation for being for third trimester abortion in a scenario where the bill allows babies to be delivered alive after 28 weeks and until birth. This group of protestors would have been forced to justify why they think a mother has a right to deliver a dead baby in the third trimester and for 99% of Australians that is an extremely unreasonable thing to be justifying. I'm still shocked that the Live Births Bill failed to pass by one vote but I know that it will pass in the not too distant future. It has to. We cannot keep needlessly injecting babies with poison right up until birth and delivering them dead.
