This is Osun, not Saraki Kwara State. When Governor Adeleke met with the โ€œFederal might," it was a normal visitation, but when the APC governorship candidate, AMBO, met with the โ€œFederal might," it was braggingโ€”OKAY! The president of Nigeria is an APC member. He has the right to support any APC members vying for election in Nigeria. Under President Tinubu's administration, we witnessed a free, fair, and less violent election in Nigeria. Recall the 2022 election: an APC member, FPMBUHARI, was the president in 2022, yet you didnโ€™t accuse the OSUN APC of โ€œFederal Mightโ€ when we lost to ADELEKE. Itโ€™s now that you all are playing a pity game. The Osun election is about grassroots political workings and not social media politics. The margins in the Osun election are always closer between the APC and the PDP, regardless of the candidates both parties presented. The Osun election is always tiedโ€”this already refutes your โ€œwide margin speculation.โ€ These are the results of the last two elections in Osun State. Osun 2022 result. PDPโ€”403,371 APCโ€”375,073 Osun 2018 result APCโ€”255, 505 PDPโ€”255,023 The current political structures donโ€™t favor Adeleke. The PDP structure has collapsed, the Accord structure is weak, the bigwigs who assisted the governor's emergence have left the party, no Aregbesola anti-party, there is no voting till 11pm in Ede again, there are no sympathy votes, etc. The current Osun election DATA doesnโ€™t favor Governor Adeleke. No Chochocho. No emotional or media blackmail would work this time around. Please, Egbon, always tell the governor the truth! The only governor who had a wide margin was Aregbesola. Aregbesola achieved it via the defection of PDP bigwigs to the APC, despite being the Governor then. The likes of Oyinlola, Serubawon(Late. Isiaka Adeleke), and others. Aregbesola APC (394,684) and OMISORE PDP(292,747) As of today, Osun APC is adding up at the grassroots. We aren't relying on "Federal might." The President will support any APC members vying for an electionโ€”Thatโ€™s sacrosanct! APC will win the Osun August 15th election and weโ€™d vote massively for President Tinubu in 2027โœŠ๐Ÿผ. BOLA lโ€™Osun. BOLA ni Federal.

Earlier today, I addressed a World Press Conference in my capacity as the Director-General of the Imole Campaign Council (TICC) on the disturbing rise in political violence in Osun State and the tragic killing of 14-year-old Ezekiel Olapade in Ilobu, Irepodun Local Government Area. With deep sorrow, I condemned the gruesome murder of the innocent teenager and demanded the immediate arrest and prosecution of Saheed Kareem, popularly known as "Tanfeani," and every individual connected with this heinous crime, following the public identification of the gang leader by the police. I warned that political violence is fast becoming a dangerous trend in Osun State, posing grave threats to peace, security, and democratic stability. I noted that the unfortunate incident in Ilobu is not isolated, but part of a disturbing pattern of violence that has claimed lives and endangered citizens in Ikire, Ilesa, Owode-Ede, Osogbo, and other parts of the state. I called on the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu TUNJI DISU, psc(+), NPM Nigeria Police Force and Nigeria Police Force_CRU, to order a comprehensive investigation into all incidents of political violence and ensure that perpetrators, sponsors, and collaborators are brought to justice irrespective of their political affiliations or social status. I also expressed our lack of confidence in the leadership of the Osun State Police Command under Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Gottan, citing the recurring incidents of violence and the growing public perception of selective law enforcement. Consequently, I called for his immediate redeployment and a thorough investigation into the apparent operational failures under his watch. Furthermore, I appealed to the National Human Rights Commission, civil society organisations, election observers, diplomatic missions, and the international community to closely monitor developments in Osun State before the situation degenerates further. As supporters of His Excellency, Governor Ademola Adeleke, and members of the Accord family, we remain committed to peace, democracy, and the rule of law. However, peace can only endure where justice prevails and accountability is guaranteed. Enough is enough. No society can prosper under the shadow of politically motivated killings. We demand justice for young Ezekiel Olapade and all victims of violence. Those responsible must be arrested and prosecuted, and every institution charged with protecting lives must rise to its constitutional duty. The people of Osun State deserve peace, security, and a democracy free from fear and bloodshed. #JusticeForEzekielOlapade #SayNoToPoliticalViolence #RedeployIbrahimGottanFromOsunState #PeaceForOsun #Imole2026 #ImoleCarryOnAccordingly

The concerned citizen called on the Osun State Government to take immediate action to preserve and conserve the Erin-Ijesha Waterfalls. Sharing the video on Facebook on Monday, Prince Isaac Fayose wrote, "Erin-Ijesha Waterfalls. What a shame. A poor state like Osun, sitting on a potential money earner has decided to abandon this in favour of almighty federal allocation." A voice in the video was heard saying in part, "I am sorry to be very emotional about this. I think it is a real shame that people will come here and disrespect our heritage like this. "They are literarily defecating on us, urinating on us. They are literarily destroying our heritage and we look on because we collect peanuts. I think it's a real shame." The Osun State Government has announced plans to upgrade several tourist sites in the state, including the popular Erin Ijesha Waterfalls. This move comes after public outcry over the site's current condition. The government also announced plans to oversee the upgrade and management of Erin Ijesha Waterfalls, stating that a tripartite committee will be formed, involving the government, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the local community. The state Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, made the disclosure in response to a recent viral video on the state of Erin Osun Water Falls, announcing that the government is implementing a systemic upgrade after decades of neglect by previous administrations. The commissioner noted that the tourism infrastructure upgrade plan covers the Osun Groove, Owala Inland Beach Resort in Olorunda Local Government Area, Sango Timi Shrine in Ede Local Government Area, Ayunkunnugba Waterfalls in Oke-Ila Orangun, in Ifedayo Local Government Area and other cultural sites. ---

Iโ€™m glad people are beginning to see how badly run Governor Jideโ€™s administration has been. There are far more abandoned projects than completed ones, and that is very disappointing. It feels like seven years have passed with very little that directly improves peopleโ€™s daily lives. Under this administration, you can see a 50-meter road taking almost eight years to complete. Basic infrastructure now looks like rocket science. Many projects are started but never finished across Lagos, both in highbrow and low-income areas. If you want a current comparison, look at Nyesom Wike who is very much a "politician". His administration is ongoing just like this one, yet he has already delivered over 15 flyovers and more than 300 roads. Meanwhile, Lagos has more resources, talent, and access to funds, yet we still struggle to complete any meaningful major bridge. Even the Opebi Link Bridge has been completed for months but is still not in use. Another issue is the state of major roads. The Lekkiโ€‘Epe Expressway is a critical road that should be rehabilitated to the highest standard, yet just see the shabby work his team is doing. Why not give such roads to reputable companies like Julius Berger, Craneburg Construction Company, or Hiโ€‘Tech Construction Company to fix them properly? So when are they going to do the finishing if not now? Even the drainage infrastructure in the whole of Lekki today is still largely what was built during the administration of Babatunde Fashola around 2008, with no meaningful upgrades despite the massive population growth, all the interlock laid by Gov. Fashola has been eroded and its less than 7 months to E1..yet no single sign of environmental management. At the same time, the government keeps announcing huge IGR figures, but people cannot clearly see the impact of that money on infrastructure. Roads remain in poor condition and many projects remain unfinished. Is he the only politician in Nigeria??? This is not just criticism; it is a genuine concern. Lagos is supposed to be a mega city, yet under this administration, infrastructure appears to be deteriorating instead of improving. A government should at least deliver visible, tangible projects that people can point to, but that has largely been missing. ๐ŸŽฅ: embarrassing shabby work bring done on one of lagos' must critical transport corridor Lekki-Epe Expressway, and AI rendering of a basic and easily achievable finishing

Reports emerging from ร’แนฃogbo indicate that students of แปŒฬ€แนฃun State University (UNIOSUN), Main Campus, have allegedly been subjected to various forms of harassment, assault, and abuse by some newly recruited personnel of the Nigerian Army within the last 24 hours. According to accounts from affected students and residents, the incident reportedly occurred in hostels and residential areas located around the University community, which shares close proximity with the Nigerian Army Depot in Osogbo. Witnesses alleged that the recruits invaded several student hostels, physically assaulted male students, intimidated residents, and allegedly subjected some female students to degrading treatment. There were also claims of theft of personal belongings during the incident. The development has generated widespread concern among students, parents, civil society groups, and members of the public, who have condemned the alleged actions and called for urgent intervention. Student leaders and concerned stakeholders have described the reports as disturbing and capable of undermining the peaceful coexistence between the university community and security institutions operating within the State. Reports indicate that the Nigerian Army is yet to issue a comprehensive official statement on the allegations as of the time of filing this report. Given the gravity of the allegations, there is an urgent need for the Federal Government, the Chief of Army Staff, the Osun State Government, the National Human Rights Commission, security agencies, and other relevant authorities to immediately investigate the matter. The safety, dignity, and fundamental rights of students must be protected at all times, while ensuring that justice is served for any proven misconduct. A swift and impartial investigation will not only establish the facts surrounding the incident but also help restore public confidence and prevent a recurrence of such allegations in the future. ๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ“ŒOne state, One governor. Using the substantial FAAC allocations being received from the Federal Government led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu to permanently rewrite the destiny of his state. Meanwhile, some governors are stashing away funds meant for their people or spending them on needless projects, while heaping blame and telling lies about Mr. President. History will judge all of us for what we do today, even when we appear untouchable because we wield the power of the state. No one remains governor forever. What endures are the projects we build, the lives we touch, and the opportunities we create for our people. Even something as simple as releasing local government funds and allowing the councils to use them judiciously for grassroots development can become a defining legacy. Governors have come and gone. History is filled with examples of those who served their people faithfully and those who did otherwise. Stash away the FAAC. Tell the people that every problem is the fault of the Federal Government. Shift responsibility if you must. But remember that history is patient, and history is a harsh judge. Instead of all these airports that the common man is unable to access , let's have rail. Intra state rail, the next Gov and state to build one like that of Lagos will etch his name in gold, forever. Enough of all this shallow thinking projects. May history be kind to us allโ€ผ๏ธ #KemKem Big shout out to all those from ๐Ÿ‘‡state, say hi if you come across this post .

I strongly condemn the coordinated attacks carried out by pro-APC political thugs in Ile-Ife, Ede, Osogbo and other parts of our state earlier today. No political ambition is worth the blood, pain, and suffering of innocent citizens. I call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, the Inspector General of Police TUNJI DISU, the Department of State Services (DSS), and other security authorities to urgently intervene and call Mr. Gboyega Oyetola Adegboyega Oyetola and the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji Bola Oyebamiji and everyone behind these provocations to order before they plunge our dear state into chaos. After receiving reports of the attacks, I personally visited affected areas and met victims receiving treatment at the Osun State Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, and the Cottage Hospital, Ede. I also paid a solidarity visit to the Osogbo Accord Chairman who survived a gunshot attack last week. I sympathize with all victims and their families. My administration will not abandon them in this difficult moment. I have directed security agencies to thoroughly investigate these incidents and ensure that every perpetrator, regardless of status or political affiliation, is brought to justice. Political differences must never degenerate into violence, intimidation, or attacks on citizens exercising their constitutional rights. Democracy thrives on dialogue, tolerance, and respect for the rule of law. I urge all residents to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding. Additional security measures are being activated across vulnerable locations, and my administration remains fully committed to protecting lives, property, and the peace of Osun State. May God grant speedy recovery to the injured and continue to preserve the peace of our beloved state.

The President, is building a bridge linking Benue State and Taraba State, yet people in these places are not posting about it. A lot of the projects the President is executing across Nigeria are not being highlighted by residents. Why? You donโ€™t post what he is doing in your city or appreciate it, yet you complain that nothing is being done. Just recently, the Abujaโ€“Kaduna highway has been trending, yet hardly anyone based there is posting about it. Thatโ€™s not fair. You cannot ignore ongoing projects and then claim the President is doing nothing in your city,itโ€™s not criticism, itโ€™s misinformation. For example, I choose to appreciate what the President is doing in Lagos because it is visible and impactful. The road networks being developed on the island will reduce travel time, improve productivity, and make life easier for residents. When the government does something good, I will say it. Yes, there is inflation, and the government should work towards reducing the cost of living so Nigerians can thrive better. But it is still important to acknowledge the good being done. Please highlight projects in your own cities. Thank you, Mr. President, for your efforts. I know it is taxpayersโ€™ money, but I still choose to appreciate it. Please continue to build more infrastructure. For example,Lagos needs more infrastructure, especially with the level of real estate development going on. More bridges, more road networks etc, this will make life easier for residents and future residents. Even if others donโ€™t appreciate it, I do. THANK You sir ๐ŸŽฅ: Nigeria man reveals an ongoing bridge contribution linking Benue State and Taraba State

#WATCH | Delhi: On the sidelines of the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS) 2026, Dr Muaviyath Mohamed, Minister of State within the Ministry of Tourism and Environment in the Maldives, says, "At this summit, there are a lot of heads of state, ministers, and high-level officials from different countries and multinational organisations. So this is a good opportunity to talk with delegations of people from other parts of the world who are having similar issues and taking our concerns to authorities or at the multilateral level, so that we can get solutions to our issues, particularly because these are trans-boundary and multinational issues that we have to find solutions to in cooperation with other countries and other multinational organisations. This is a good opportunity to network and work together with other people and institutions with similar issues." He adds, "Here I'll be meeting the Indian counterpart at other institutions as well. Because we are having similar issues in some areas... We have been working on environmental and sustainable development... We have to work together with our counterparts, countries, and organisations so that we can achieve our aims and goals. In that context, India and the Maldives have been working on similar projects for a long time. India has been a reliable partner. India has the technological advances, and for us, the capacity building, knowledge transfer, and technology transfer we could get from India. India is always helpful in looking for these opportunities so that we can get solutions to our issues."
