If anyone thinks this is a red card they have no clue about football 😂😂😂 1. It’s not even a foul 2. Even if it is gave as a foul it’s not a yellow card foul 3. The ball is nowhere near him at ANY point for this to be gave a yellow or a red card IF a foul was gave 4. If you’re giving fouls for this you’re giving a foul every second of a game 5. Even if this was a yellow card, which it wasn’t, VAR can’t intervene to give a yellow card It’s a contact sport. But he’s literally throwing himself to the ground the SECOND Tavernier touches him. He doesn’t pull him or push him. He literally puts his hand on him and he throws himself to the ground cause he knew he wasn’t getting anywhere near the ball It only looks bad because he throws himself to the ground and Tav almost falls over him

FT Spurs 1 v 2 Liverpool The referee made himself the star of the show in the first 30 mins every shoulder to shoulder challenge was given against us then came that Simons red at first I thought it was a slip but the replay showed a clear red.what was he thinking he’s let the team down. We fought so well up until that moment and we did so well when we went down to 10 men in the first half. Isak came on as a HT sub and of course he scored soon after but was injured scoring the goal. It was a bizarre Cuti pass that created their chance of course Wirtz got his first assist as well. This match against Chelsea, is my favourite Ange Postecoglou memory at Tottenham Hotspur. This was not just in regards to football, but also in regards to life. Watching Ange never back down from the Tottenham motto “Audere Est Facere” was a key changing point in my life. I learnt that, even when things don’t go your way or are seemingly impossible, you should never shy away from your true beliefs, or who/what made you. As Ange mentioned in the UEL final speech. At the top of the league, with 9 men, against one of our biggest rivals, Ange didn’t shy us away in a shell, he dared, and he did. He showed to us supporters a team that genuinely bleed Lilywhite, we hadn’t seen do that for many, many years. That’s why, after a 4-1 loss, Spurs were sent off to a standing ovation from the home support. This is why Ange means more than just football to me and so many others, he represents faith, confidence, and success. Gaffer.

FT Newcastle 2 v 2 Spurs Take a bow captain Cuti Romero 🔥 Playing Newcastle away for anyone this season has been a tough task and with the way we’ve been playing most fans predicted this was gonna be a horror show. Many fans including myself were surprised at the team selection. Bergvall’s energy was fantastic and he was so unlucky with a beautiful flick on goal that went just over. He was constantly battling away he gave all. Danso was superb at the back making crucial blocks and header on the line. I’m not sure what Johnson was doing at any stage of the game kudus and Muani were our main outlets from the back. They brought on the pace of Gordon and Elanga as we tired we responded by taking Muani off which seemed strange to me just after he made a great run into the box. They scored from outside the box yet again after a nice lay off just after that tho kudus cross found Romero with a brilliant diving header. Then out of nowhere a disgraceful decision to award a penalty that even Dan burn didn’t think it was one. Burn us twice the size of Bentancur ffs. You might as well make it a non contact sport fuming. We so deserved that point we really battled in that second half. The fans and players so needed that result. #COYS 🤍💙

Even with Deshaun Watson's perfect second half against the Ravens, some #Browns fans will simply never be satisfied with the quarterback. No matter what he does. People act like it's okay for QBs like Josh Allen (3 turnovers Monday night) or Lamar Jackson (1 completion in the 4th quarter) to have bad games or drives or whatever, but Deshaun Watson has to complete 100% of his passes and score a touchdown on every drive to even be considered 'okay.' This nonsense has to stop so we can just appreciate that Watson has a 4-1 record in full games this season. His adjusted completion percentage against the Ravens was 76%. 76%!!! Against one of the best defenses in the league! In the last couple of weeks, there has been a lot of talk about who is and who should be in charge of the “Unified Command” that looks after the law and order as well as security in the state of Manipur. This issue is being raised 16 months after the crisis began in May 2023! But barely a week after Mr Kuldiep Singh was appointed in May, 2023 as the Chairman of the Unified Headquarters/Command, I had flagged off the issue of Article 355 to Karan Thapar. I had told him about the subversion of the federal structure by the Modi led Govt. of India through a de facto and illegal act of exercising power over the state government. And that this subversion has rendered Shri Biren’s government as a “proxy government” and “a façade”. Not only that, I have also hinted about the “game” of keeping “Biren as the enemy” to help perpetuate the conflict and that if he were to be removed, that “game (would be) gone” as well! That the violent crisis which should have been brought under control in a couple of weeks has not happened so far points to that “game”. Since this interview (9 June, 2023), I have consistently raised this issue on many occasions, by asking “who’s in charge of the law and order” in Manipur, and reminding that the Govt of Manipur is a “proxy” for the Govt of India. And that Shri Biren is a “willing scapegoat”, someone who has protected and shielded Modi-Shah from any criticism or responsibility pertaining to this terrible tragedy in Manipur. In fact, he has defended the duo openly and unabashedly in many instances! Fact is, as I have insisted throughout the crisis so far, the “inaction of the GoI” itself is an “action” that has aggravated and prolonged the crisis, and therefore it must take the major responsibility.

Sometimes I don’t understand why Ajit Agarkar was and is always against Sanju Samson In 2023, India had 3 squads for the Asia Cup, Asian Games & ODI World Cup. 31 different players got selected across those tournaments & somehow Sanju wasn’t part of any squads. What’s even crazier is that he was picked as a reserve player for the Asia Cup, which meant he wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & it also affected his plans to play County Cricket. So in the end he wasn’t part of the Asia Cup squad, wasn’t part of the Asian Games squad & couldn’t continue with his County plans either. Everyone who followed the ODI matches before the 2023 World Cup knew Sanju was the most deserving guy who wasn’t picked in the squad. When Sanju scored 3 T20I centuries as an opener in 2024, Ajit Agarkar openly said he was only playing because Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal were unavailable. Imagine saying that about a player who had just scored 3 centuries in 5 matches for India in T20Is something no one has done before in a year. A number of you have asked about the call at the end of the 1st Half of the Bethel Football game at NCC Football in which there was a potential fumble/TD wiped off the board for Bethel that eventually led to no score by the Royals. The full play and a breakdown of issues with the call are in the video below. To be clear, though: 1) It appears that the receiver did not possess the ball at or past the NCC 8, which was needed for the 1st Down (the officials gave the ball to Bethel at the 8 after the overturn, awarding a 1st down). 2) It seems like the wing official was marking forward progress but may not have blown his whistle. It is unclear how he affected the overturn decision in the first place. What is clear is that the officials on the field awarded a fumble and TD, meaning they did not rule forward progress had been stopped. As a result, this aspect of the play is NOT reviewable by rule, as it is a judgment call in real time. 3) No TD should have been awarded before the review in the first place, as the ball clearly was fumbled to the lineman, and fumbles on 4th down in college football can only be advanced by the fumbling player. The ball would have been marked at the spot of the fumble in that case. 4) The officials missed a clear Roughing the Passer call, as the NCC defender went for the Bethel QB's legs while he was in his passing stance. This would have been a half-the-distance and automatic-first-down foul. If this play was called correctly in the first place, it should have been called dead with forward progress stopped at the 8 1/2 yard line and the Roughing foul pushing the ball to the 4 1/4 yard line, 1st & Goal Bethel, with the clock stopped due to penalty. No matter what, though, the Roughing penalty would have ensured Bethel had the ball closer to the goal with 16 seconds left (when forward progress stoppage should have been called). Was there doing one of his stunts, a corrupted jury gave him a guilty verdict. He has never used an ID to gain access to any stadiums. FT Spurs 0 v 3 Nottingham Forest We are in serious trouble make no mistake about it,mid March and we still have no wins it’s just an unbelievably bad situation. 2 games against them we’ve conceded 6 and scored 0 😡 We lost to a shambolic second half from Forest in reality. You can’t say they didn’t try but we just weren’t good enough. How we ended the 1st half 1 down. I’ll never know. We had so much pressure on their goal. I was worried when it was announced Michael Oliver was our ref today. He gives us nothing, and so it came to be a couple of penalty shouts and every decision against us. Gray, Tel, and Danso did so well in that half, but again we were undone at a corner. Igor Jesus heading in after losing Spence,not long after a great shot from Tel was brilliantly saved. I think we deserved better. For the possession, we needed more shots on target. Tudor took off Spence and MVDV off at HT, which was a bit of a surprise to me. Maybe it was the poor late goal at HT. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Leaving Porro on Hudson Odoi was always going to end badly, and it did as he crossed for MGW to score. 😡 How Oliver allowed Sangare to stay on the pitch after a clear 2nd yellow on Simmons was beyond me .
