Why would you ruin a beautiful car to make a point that no one disputes?

modern cars are basically really sturdy steel pods that crumple like tinfoil in a crash, like they're supposed to, almost none of the impact actually reaches you unlike the steel behemoths of yesterye

The older cars really where alot less safe!

No crumple zones on old cars so your body feels the impact more

Of course, I'm only guessing I would think the older Impala would have an 800 - 1000 lb weight advantage but still does poorly by comparison.
