Everyone's talking about vibe coding without looking at code. I was skeptical. I decided to give it a shot on a challenging problem and was blown away by what I could accomplish in 8 hours. I'm not skeptical anymore, but I also do NOT think it kills SaaS Notes: - I tried to replicate some of my favorite features from the Solve-It platform as a jupyter extension - I've tried this many times before, and it didn't work. - I gave my agent specific testing tools that I packaged as skills. I used AI to write the skills. I found the right testing workflow for this Jupyter extension by having AI peruse lots of other extensions and the Jupyter source code. - I had the AI write and maintain a large suite of tests the whole time. I think this was important in keeping the AI on track. - I watched the diffs and the thinking traces as they streamed by. From time to time, I would see something very suspicious like " try ... except: pass" And would stop the AI and tell it to stop this behavior. Then trigger a comprehensive code review using AI. - Most importantly, I don't think this kills SasS at all. Even if I can create software that replicates some of my favorite features, there is an insanely long tail of paper cuts and features I don't want to manage. The models and capabilities are improving so fast that I don't want to constantly tune everything. So I would rather leave that up to people who are focused on that daily and have good taste, with the knowledge that it has been battle tested against many users.

📢| Young Multi addressed the latest situation “As you know, I am a Polish creator, and some international viewers who are seeing this for the first time don’t know my full history online or the Polish context I grew up in; that’s why I wanted to clear this up. So 14 years ago, when I was 15, I used a word in a video that I shouldn’t have never used. I never tried to hide it; I never tried to cover it up. That clip was publicly available the entire time in YouTube. I had the tools to remove it from the channel that uploaded it at any point. And I chose not to because I rather own it than pretend it never happened. I’m not using my age or where I am from as an excuse; that’s only for context. But the responsibility to understand the weight of the word was mine, and I came to understand it on my own. I already talked about this when I just started streaming, to my Polish viewers, before anyone dug it up now. But the video from this is long gone, so I don’t have a recording of it. You can take my word for it or not I’m not gonna push anyone to believe me. I said openly many times that I said stupid things in the past that i wouldn’t say today, that I regret, and I am ashamed of it. Often, I was the one who brought this topic up. Nobody was trying to cancel me or pressure me into talking about it I talked about it on my own. Also, the same clip actually came up once before, around the time I was first introduced to an international audience. And I didn’t address it then not because I wanted to ignore it I just didn’t feel confident enough in explaining something that difficult in English, which I said in my stream in Polish. It's not my first language, and explaining something properly without a context is a lot harder for me than in Polish, and I was afraid that the language barrier would make me come across the wrong way. I'm sorry for what I said. Now that I'm much older, I know that word hurts people, and I'm sorry that I used it. If after this u feel that you don't want to watch me anymore, I understand, and you shouldn't feel bad about that. However, for those who do stick around, I hope my behaviour shows that I genuinely changed and that I see a lot of things differently now. And like I said on the international Discord: liking me doesn't mean u have to defend me all the time. ✨ I made a little demo of #vibejam sponsor Tripo and how you can use it to generate assets for your games In this case I'm generating an apartment flat that's half destroyed and open for my drone sim to fly around, take cover and shoot at enemies from First I write the prompt and select Nano Banana to generate an image first, I get a few different ones, and I select the one I like Then that one is converted into a 3d object called a Smart Mesh Smart Mesh is different than regular image-to-3d models because usually you get issues with uneven polygon distribution, too dense geometry and poor edge flow, so while you think you save time with generating it with AI you end up doing lots of editing after to fix the topology which kinda defeats the point Smart Mesh doesn't have any of this, it's fast and clean low-poly models you can drop into your game Anyway, after generating the model I can then see it in 3d, and if I don't like it, regenerate it, or if I like it start texturing it Once that's done, I export it as a GLB, FBX or OBJ and drop it in (usually I use GLB as ThreeJS seems to prefer that), in my case I just drop the URL into Cursor and let it figure out the placement of the asset into my game!

Here's a look behind the scenes of how I used a 3d model, generated from an image, as a "driver" for ai animation. In the near future we'll see more 3d tools that support these types of workflows, with much more emphasis on enhancing user input instead of just letting the ai do everything. I used the 3d model to generate keyframes that I then animated in Luma Dream. By using a 3d model with a diffusion "layer" done with Krea, I got quite high quality frames with a relatively high consistency as well since the AI didn't have to "hallucinate" that much. I upscaled and detailed the frames using Magnific. Using semi-detailed 3d models as drivers for gen ai is very powerful, and it allows us to use models that are sculpted in a more free-flowing type of workflow that doesn't rely so much on high surface detailing or very time-consuming finish, but instead relies more on gestural 3d sculpting. #art #ai

Q explains once you worked hard and know what to look for, its all about waiting and not over trading. "How long did it take your journey, for instance? How did you do it? What process did you suggest for people down this road? Well, when I had a 40k account, I was day trading. I started doing more overnights when I had like a couple of hundred thousand or like 100,000, and then I started doing more swing trading, like three to five days, when I had a few hundred thousand. Now that I have in the millions, I don't even bother with these shorter-term trades. I'm just looking for big opportunities because I don't really have to make money. I don't care if I don't make money for the rest of the year. I'm just waiting for the next big opportunity, like when the market goes up a lot and I can make a million, two million in a short amount of time. The rest of the time, I don't sit there and day trade for a few thousand here, a few thousand there. I'm just getting too old for it. I don't want to spend the rest of my days like that. I want to trade the rest of my life, but I don't want to day trade. I don't want to sit there and look at charts seven, eight hours per day. I've done that. It's really exhausting. So I'm just sitting around and doing other things. Meanwhile, I look for big opportunities. The last big opportunity was late last year, early this year. I made well over a million in a very short time, in a few months. And I really didn't have to do much. I bought a few stocks and now I just waited. And that's how I like to trade. I don't want to work too hard for it because you don't have to. If you wait for your setups, you don't have to work that hard, but you have to work hard to get to the point where you know where the good setups are, if you understand what I mean. Patience is the hardest part because you feel like you have to do something. Every day I'm fighting the urge to trade. I'm a chronic over-trader. I probably always will be, and that's fine as long as I realize it and don't go crazy with it."

When I had an event at a mall, I tried a test drive. I want to drive, but I don't really have knowledge. I think I need to gain more knowledge on this, bc I want to drive fast. What I want is for people who are not corrupt, who are well-informed about the issue, to figure out what the best level of immigration is and to set up a process that works. I don't want to see any illegals. I want to see people who come in legally. I want to see the number. Maybe it's a high number. Maybe it's a low number. Merely because Jim Dolan is admittedly a good friend of Donald Trump's. And to now put that on the players, your boss, the owner of the team you play for is extending this offer, accepting this offer. I don't - I know you might get people that refuse to go. I just think it's not fair to take any of the flowers and beauty of this moment and its unity and try to then place it on the players' back. ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: I totally agree. I think it puts the players in such an uncomfortable position, cause it was honestly the first thing I thought of once they won the championship, as a new Knicks fan, is like, "Oh no, they're going to get invited to the White House and there's this political discourse. Should they go, shout they not?" I think they should go if they want to. If they're comfortable going, because the White House is bigger than any one president and precedency. HAINES: It's our house.
