If you're buying Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 on console, own both and insist on 60fps, pick up the Series X version. Oddly has a big advantage over PS5 of 10-15fps or 21% in places Performance mode runs 720p-1080p FSR, Quality ~locked 30fps on both consoles at 1080p-1440p FSR

Digital Foundry analyses Crimson Desert on PS5 Pro and concludes it's "fantastic on PS5 Pro. They actually did it". Also "one of the most impressive open world experiences" John's had. Has RT in all modes and perfomance is mostly stable even at 60fps, save for some egregious extremes where it can drop to the 30's, though 40fps and 30fps modes stay near locked. Will have PSSR 2.0 at launch, which DF couldn't test with this version of the game, so will improve further. #CrimsonDesert #PS5Pro

Path Tracing on PS5 Pro even as a demo and at 30fps, pretty much confirms at least some games will use PT on PS6, which I said months ago but some said I was crazy for suggesting. PC gamers won't want to admit it, but next-gen the gap between console and higher end PC may shrink in terms of real world differences, bolstered by more competent RT and AI upscaling tech in the next-gen consoles. Keep in mind Valve already confirmed what Steam data already showed, that "the steam machine is equal or better than ~70% of what people have at home", and the Steam Machine is reportedly similar in perfomance to the BASE PS5. In regards to PT in F1 on PS5 Pro, I say drop the base resolution further (there's examples of PSSR 2 looking great even at 864p) and give us 40fps or higher. Also, this is a reason the future/RDNA4 RT tech and custom AI hardware in PS5 Pro was noteworthy. The "2-3x" PS5's RT performance Cerny quoted clearly wasn't just PR bluster. Outside of this demo, it's already allowing WAY better RT than PS5 in some games (Cyberpunk, F1, AC Shadows etc), with better image quality and/or perfomance to boot. Such demo's show there's potentially more to extract, especially for quality modes. #PS5Pro #PS6

This is the closest Game we have to compare to GTA VI in terms of Open-World Gameplay. This Matrix: Awakens footage was recorded on Xbox Series X and as you can see the FPS is struggling to stay above 30FPS. The resolution also takes a big hit when you start moving the camera too fast because of so much processing happening at the same time. Considering GTA 6 has probably 10X times the mechanics of NPCs behavior going on and physics that are miles ahead of this game, it's safe to say that a performance mode is going to be near impossible in a PS5/Xbox Series X and S Version. Perhaps when PS5 Pro launches we will get a 60FPS mode, but things are looking rough right now. Let's see how well Rockstar Games manages to optimize their next GTA For more in-depth insights, updates, and discussions on the gaming and tech universe, join me on this exciting journey. Here's what Crimson Desert does right: >It is one of very few AAA games that hasn't switched to Unreal Engine 5, instead Pearl Abyss developed this game on their own proprietary game engine >Pearl Abyss refused Sony's offer to make this game a timed PS5 exclusive >3 Performance modes on base consoles Performance, Balanced and Quality (except Xbox Series S) >PSSR 2 day one for PS5 Pro and FSR Redstone day one for PC >The developers were very open to performance testing and reviews >Offers so many gameplay mechanics that give the player freedom to finish quests and missions any way that they want to >It is highly detailed and massive open-world game with a huge focus on exploration This game is a breath of fresh air, if it manages to live up to the hype and delivers, Pearl Abyss will definitely become one of the best open-world developers!

QSSR is yet more proof engineering can trump tflops and marketing soundbites. Digital Foundry describes #PS5's new QSSR upscaler as "potentially a game changer" with "remarkable" implications. They say its improvements are "transformative" and "differences can be quite profound". In Marvel’s Wolverine they say "the detail level generally seems to be significantly improved" and also "delivering significantly better presentation of RT reflections". QSSR also cleans up a whole host of shimmering, pixel crawl, ghosting and other issues, and is generally far more temporally stable. They say while PSSR "might not be enormously different from a quality perspective" to QSSR, the PS5 Pro is still "justified" and in comparison "looks absolutely pristine in a way that neither of the base PS5 versions are", due to "more advanced upscaling, running from higher base resolutions and a higher output resolution" and "improved Ray Tracing and such". They discuss how based on Ghost of Yotei, there is a chance QSSR actually has a similar perfomance cost to FSR, and if so, "looks too good to be true", with QSSR offering significantly better image quality at potentially no additional performance cost. They say PlayStation has told them swapping out FSR for QSSR is a relatively painless process. While they don't yet know if GTA 6 will ship with QSSR, image quality was one of the issues they had with the game, and that if it QSSR does go to GTA 6 "it would be a bit of a game changer for the console. It would be pretty extraordinary." They end with "you've got to hand it to Sony for doing something that I just didn't think would be possible, but they've done it, and it works." The PS5 has ultimately created a potentially bigger gap to the Series X and similarly perfomant older (non FSR4) AMD GPU systems. At least in image quality and stability, for now. Edited video attached. Full link below:

SORA + GLM-4.6 is next-level 🔥 This duo is insane for producing cinematic, high-quality videos no studios, no teams, no $1K/hour directors. Just two AI tools working together like a full creative department. Here’s how it works: → GLM-4.6 expands your concept into full narratives, detailed character actions, and 5–10 scene prompts → Sora converts GLM-4.6’s prompts into several video versions with perfect visuals, sound, and transitions → GLM-4.6 reviews each clip, checks consistency, improves pacing, and suggests refinements → Sora regenerates the enhanced scenes automatically Ideal for creators and brands testing cinematic content at scale without spending weeks or thousands. The magic is in the combo: GLM-4.6 = story depth + intelligent creative direction Sora = production quality that rivals professional studios While agencies take months, you’re generating 20–30 polished variations in a single afternoon. Test multiple angles. Refine fast. Scale smarter. Like, RT + reply with “SORA” and I’ll DM the full workflow (Must be following so I can DM). Skip this and keep paying agencies $15K/month for a handful of videos.

M64 is to the Nintendo 64 what the iPhone was to the 3310 Developed by ModRetro, the M64 is presented as the ultimate alternative to the original hardware, featuring the most advanced components on the market and the highest-quality finish that enhances every little detail of the system you remember. Presented in packaging with a ’90s aesthetic, this console comes in a dual-textured plastic case (frosted translucent in any of the five available colors or clear). It’s capable of playing original cartridges, reproductions, backups, homebrew, and, of course, remastered releases and new titles from ModRetro. Through its HDMI output, it supports resolutions of 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 4K, as well as displaying images at their original resolution on a CRT TV via its own adapter. As you’d expect, the system has no region lock, so you can enjoy your NTSC-USA, NTSC-JAP, and PAL-EUR cartridges like never before. Additionally, both the Expansion Pak and—coming soon—the Controller Pak are emulated by the console, ensuring that the entire original catalog is available in the best possible quality. Its architecture is open-source, easy to disassemble, with no degradable electronics, and gold-plated traces and connectors that ensure optimal preservation of the system over the years. Of course, just like with the Chromatic, its firmware is updatable via Wi-Fi or USB cable, and it features a front-end menu that allows, among other things, for detailed on-the-fly customization of resolutions and filters, as well as the implementation of different overclocking levels that take the 64-bit experience to unprecedented heights. And I can’t forget one of its main selling points: the Pro Controller. A controller that stays true to the original form factor but incorporates improved ergonomic solutions, a ceramic-coated aluminum finish, high-end PBT crystalline polymer buttons, and a state-of-the-art TMR joystick coated in soft polymer and free of any drift; which offers a wider travel range, with four levels of spring tension and a greater degree of tilt, achieving unbeatable precision with no dead zones. Additionally, the stick gates are interchangeable, allowing you to customize your experience by installing the classic octagonal, equidistant hexagonal, or circular models. It also features an ERM vibration motor. You can play with the controller connected via cable or wirelessly using Bluetooth 6.2, which reduces response latency to below 0.65 microseconds. It is powered by a rechargeable battery with a USB-C port or by two AA batteries housed in an included module. Like the console, its firmware is updatable and it’s available in the same colors. You can purchase the M64 for $229.99 and the Pro Controller separately (since the system supports your old N64 or third-party controllers) for $89.99. I can guarantee that with this new ModRetro ecosystem, you’ll not only dust off games you may not have touched in decades, but it will also serve as the perfect incentive to dive into one of the most interesting and iconic game libraries—featuring both single-player and multiplayer titles—with undeniable appeal.

‼️SHOCKING: New High Frame Rate VIDEO Shows Multiple Projectiles FIRED By Compressed Air Device RIGGED In Top Of Tent Behind Charlie😱 I was the first person to notice this object and reported on it back in October of last year. At the time I believed it was a single shell casing falling from the top of the tent. After further evaluation and now obtaining this new higher frame-rate 4K video, it is clear that what we are seeing is a secondary pneumatic device that fired a volley of approximately four low-speed projectiles toward the back of Charlie Kirk. These projectiles line up perfectly with a separate video discovered by John Goodman that was posted late last year. We now have clearer visual evidence of what happened in the seconds Charlie Kirk was hit. A secondary device powered by compressed air fired at least four projectiles in rapid succession toward Charlie. In the higher frame-rate footage you can see the streaks of the projectiles and, critically, the visible puff of compressed air exiting with them. That jet of air is the signature of a pneumatic system, not a conventional firearm and not insects. Multiple independent witnesses described hearing a distinct pneumatic or compressed-air sound at the moment of the event. The “bugs” explanation does not hold — insects do not travel in straight, high-speed linear paths across the frame like this. Dan Flood’s reaction is also notable: he appears startled by something occurring right beside him beyond whatever he may have anticipated from the microphone area. This matches the earlier lower-quality clips but with far more clarity. The device, the air discharge, and the multiple projectiles are visible. Combined with the rapid cleanup of the scene, the taped-over wires, and the handling of the SD cards, the official single-gunshot story continues to face serious visual problems. The footage is available in the livestream linked below. Watch it frame by frame for yourself. TAG Candace Owens and Baron Coleman , RT and watch the FULL clip below.
