Crocheting 3dprinted foam is just silly

That's worse is making thousands of rings, weaving them in, and riveting all of them individually. Done it and... it's maddening at some points

This reminds me of the chain mail armor the bad guys from Stargate wore. It was just a woven wool pattern painted to look like mail.
