3dprinted foam tpu chainmail! This is fdm printed based on a crochet style loop design by @beneadie without any supports and only a tiny bit of filament. Some assembly required 😂

@beneadie God I love these prints 🤩🤩 I did a little sample of I think “elven” armor a while back to see how well it printed and was blown away!

📢It is live! @figma design to @MUI_hq or @AntDesignUI "Whether your design is well organized or a bit chaotic, using standard components or none, Anima takes it all and translates it into high-quality #MUI or #AntDesign code."-->

@beneadie Guessing that's a wee bit lighter as well. 🤣

@beneadie Very much so, though it doesnt make that same satisfying sound haha

@beneadie Hey @Fizzily_cosplay I know what we're printing in tpu next

@beneadie That's not crochet, that's knitting, specifically garter stitch. Crochet is a series of knots made with a single hook, knitting is weaving a thread of yarn with itself and uses two needles.

@beneadie I know, but i needed a crochet needle to put it together and it doesnt work with knitting needles, ive done both knitting and crocheting in the past. The whole system was indeed based on knitting by ben eadie a couple years ago

@beneadie How long to make a shirt?

@beneadie depends on how fast you are at weaving them together haha. The entire sheet took about 1h30min to print (at 30mms because this tpu is very slow)

@beneadie how did you print this? do you print them linked?

@beneadie no im linking them by hand. They're printed flat in squiggly shapes row by row, not actual rings, similar to how knitting works
