CPS usually place the child in the foster care system, oftentimes the child is then placed with an adoption agency, who sells the child to the highest bidder. For months, when asked whether he PERSONALLY was directing/influencing /pressuring the CPS Board into firing CPS CEO Pedro Martinez, he denied it, stonewalled saying "he doesn't discuss personnel issues," denied FOIA requests and violated the Open Meetings Act by providing completely redacted documents in response to FOIA requests by the media. But this week, an unredacted copy of an internal memo, obtained by Chicago Tribune, showed that Johnson's advisor told CPS board members that the Mayor expected Martinez to be out by September 26th. Johnson's Chief of Staff, Cristina "Peace Circles" Pacione-Zayas was also included in the message thread. It hasn't been proven yet but I suspect that Johnson also knew all about his former Press Secretary and friend, Ronnie Reese's sexual misconduct and intimidation at City Hall and did nothing about it. Not only is the Mayor being extremely dishonest but he clearly cares more about his backers at CTU than he does about the people of Chicago or their kids at CPS Schools. #thatreporter

BSL is lying about lower CPS enrollment. It's low because families are leaving Chicago over high taxes, crime, and terrible schools, not affordable housing. BSL is telling the truth about high property taxes; they are too high. But what does he do about high taxes? Nothing.
