“tell me about what’s headspace you need to be in to be your best in the studio?” ROSÉ: i just need ‘not think’ personally, the last album i realized that it was so much more free flowing in the studio when i was just myself fully. I feel like everybody has stories to tell on like a day-to-day basis and like usually you would talk to your therapist about it or your boyfriend or to your best friend but ive kind of saved that and anytime i felt something, felt like speaking my mind i would quickly find a studio and and the people that i love to work with and just pop in and i’d just let it out there just so that, well for the last album it feels very intimate and feel like a journal.

It doesn’t feel lonely at all, it’s fun doing it alone. But it might feel lonely, if I do it often. But as it’s the first day of the year, I felt like I wanted to be with myself a lot…yeah be with myself and be with peace/calmness first, I didn’t want the first day of the year to be too chaotic. ⛰️ I think I was standing for almost half of the flight time. Since I’ve just been dancing continuously from when I was young and doing things like that*, my body isn’t really in good condition. But now, since the situation was such that I had to keep going anyway, I told the flight attendant, “I’m sorry, but would it be okay if I stand for a bit?” ⛰️ When I say it like this, it sounds like I’m making a show of it, but I just wanted to tell you how much it meant to me/how sincere I was about it. Really. It’s not like “I did well, praise me.” It’s just that that one stage and you all were so precious to me**, so in my own way I tried saying this. Yes. * i think he meant having a lot of flights, sitting a lot and etc. ** like in that moment, the only things on his mind were how to get there on time for concert and ATINY video cr. #poon_mit12 🐶: I want to tell you guys something. At first I kept thinking really hard about whether I should say it or not, because it might make things tense. But the image people have of me is.. the impression of me is that I'm the type of person who is like a chatterbox, right? But I actually think a lot. Lately, I've started to feel like when people don't know what else to tease me about, they just tease me by saying I talk too much or that I don't make any sense. But seriously, I actually do make sense. Sometimes, it's just for the vibe of the show. *starts speaking in English* I have days where I'm just totally exhausted. And to be honest, there are people who are much better at talking than I am, but that specific moment, when that (loud/talkative) image was what people remembered of me. There were people who were telling me to entertain and put on a show, as if I could be an MC. So, I went all out. But it turned out that from the very first day I went to GMMTV, I ended up looking like someone who talks too much. And honestly, deep down, I don't really like that. I feel like, why am I like that? And then I reflect on myself, asking whether I'm really like that or not. But when I think about it, in some parts where I'm comfortable, I really am like that. I do just ramble on and talk a lot but it's not all the time, everyone. Or sometimes people tease me like, 'Hey, can you stop talking yet?' even when I haven't said anything and I'm just sitting quietly. I feel like I don't really like that image people have of me today. But I don't intend to change who I am, either. I'll just think of it as being 100% myself. I just want everyone to understand that, actually, I also have moments where I might be a bit drained, or moments where I don't speak. If there's a day where I'm quiet, I'm totally fine, okay? And also, it feels bad for my own mental health. *starts speaking in English* The thing is, when I'm with my high school friends, I never have this kind of image at all. It wasn't until I came here and on the first day, I was like, 'Yeah, I'll entertain,' thinking deep down that it'd be good if I could become an MC or something. So now I just felt like, 'Why?' Did I mess something up? I'm afraid people will find me annoying, too. I'm actually campaigning for people to stop saying that 'I don't make sense' or that 'I talk too much,' because it can actually make me lose certain types of jobs. The idea that I don't make sense, I really don't like it. I don't want it to be like, 'Oh, when we're out promoting together and you don't know who else to tease, you just pick on Poon.' Whoa, seriously, I am a good kid. When it comes to work, I am incredibly focused.. but right now I have to hurry because I've only got 15 minutes to commute.

Like I always ask myself like, could you just please be on your own for a second? Why do you always need somebody to talk to or to go for a trip?
