I had asked a question that wasn't answered. How does the recovery work? YOU said that it's a 2 of 3 signing situation, where 2 of the 3 places that share access to the key will have to come together to sign a transaction. YOU also said that a person should setup another trusted person as a recovery device with the BitKey app, BUT the recovery device doesn't store my keys. Alright. So, if I lose both my phone and BitKey, how is it technically possible for me to recover anything if the recovery device doesn't hold my copy of the key? Or does it become a 2 of 4 when I add a recovery device? Something's not adding up about your explanation.

@max_guise If there was ever a hardfork (like Bcash in 2017) and my stack is on Bitkey, is there anyway I could access the the hardfork shitcoins to send them to the exchange to sell?

@max_guise If I lose both my keys at @unchained or @CasaHODL, I lose my bitcoin. If you don't understand why that's *desirable*, then you don't understand self-custody. Until @Bitkey open-sources how user keys are generated, and how server key and Recovery Contact works, it's a non-starter.
