As a political worker, I want to express my point of view regarding the war between Pakistan and Afghanistan. This war with Afghanistan is a dollar-driven war. It is not the war of the Pakistani nation. It is the personal war of Asim Munir and his puppet Shehbaz Sharif. The real Prime Minister of the country, Imran Khan, has repeatedly sent messages from jail saying that this is Asim Munir’s personal war. The people of both countries should come out carrying white flags and show the world that we want peace, not war.

In the first audio, a Pak Army officer talks about how his serving coursemates are disillusioned with the military top brass, specially with respect to the current face-off between Imran Khan and Gen. Asim Munir. The second audio is of a woman telling the entire story of what transpired between Lt Gen Salman (Corps Cdr Lahore) and Gen. Asim Munir, COAS. This is a very clear case of Pak Army Chief Gen. Asim Munir ambushing his own Corps Commander. The Pakistan Army, inspite of its claims of unity and a resilient command structure, is nothing more than a bunch of entitled feudal lords.

This is the fruit and vegetable market in Peshawar, Pakistan. There’s no one willing to buy Pakistani oranges anymore. In the past, these oranges used to be exported to Afghanistan. If Asim Munir remains in power, he won’t just worsen Pakistan’s security situation—thousands of factories will shut down, and ordinary Pakistanis will face heavy losses.
