That’s not cursive, it’s script

That’s a calligraphy not cursive.

That is NOT cursive. I know because my name is Gail and I had to learn how to write a capital G in cursive.

This is calligraphy, not cursive. Very impressive that they can do it with a pencil.

That is beautiful calligraphy but not the cursive I was taught at school using a pen, nib and inkpot. We were taught light upstrokes and heavy downstrokes and letters formed to be joined continuously, not to be decorated later. Perhaps it was copperplate.

We were taught this in grade school and our proficiency, or lack, was accredited to our final grade.

I was taught cursive at school. Those are the capital letters.

This is not cursive format that is taught in Canadian schools - it’s almost like this person is scribing the letters backwards???
