Cursor can now build charts and diagrams right in the chat. Use /visualize to analyze data and see the answer inline. Available now in the Agents Window.

these animations, wow

Another feature instead of fixing million bugs

Things are moving too fast. I abandoned Grok Bot yesterday because the lack of this feature 😅

Does /visualize redraw the chart when the data changes?

this is incredible

now i can understand complex stuffs easily as well as it will help a lot while writing blogs great feature :D

finally, i've been pasting csvs into random tabs like an animal

does /visualize read a CSV sitting in the workspace, or only numbers already in the chat? that's copyable vs a demo chart

mermaid-cli in a local node script gives you deterministic SVGs without eating context window tokens.

@kristaletz You guys can’t stop winning

What's the point in chats? They won't even be saved anyway.

When can se get to experience a unified Cursor + X + Grok integration on a shared plan?

This is a really practical addition! Making Cursor more and more of a general purpose application more than just coding. Its come a long way from being an AI IDE!

wow!

@kristaletz Yes!

So now the answer comes with a chart I'll still screenshot and paste into Slack anyway.

Good one cursor

Am I the only one that still uses the IDE mode? Never use agents window. Any good?

/visualize only lives in the Agents Window, so the people doing quick analysis in the editor still have to switch contexts. feels like the feature should just exist everywhere chat does

@andrewdsouza take a look: Cursor’s inline charts and diagrams for developers using its coding agent. I can help them reach more software teams.

@poteto That’s really cool 😎 ✌️

Can it turn a messy CSV into a chart without extra prompting?

Inline charts in the agent window quietly kill a lot of tab hopping

flashy move that does nothing... I canceled my subscription today. Waiting for Composer 3.

The chart is what gets forwarded. Make sure the query that built it is still sitting in the thread. Follow for crypto, AI infrastructure, and the benchmarks that survive the clip.

ok /visualize inline is gonna save me so many tab switches

Can an inline chart keep its source data and transformation code one click away? A convincing picture should make the calculation easier to inspect.

Inline system architecture diagrams inside the agent loop will save so many context switches to Figma.

been waiting for something like this since half my cursor sessions turn into me pasting numbers into excel just to see a trend line
