Most AI video tools still feel like traditional editors with a few AI features added in. You still end up adjusting timelines, fixing frames, and spending time editing. One of the hardest problems with using AI agents to automate meaningful document work (contracts, KYC, diligence, claims, and more) is not actually building the agent, but building the UI/UX audit trail so the human can understand decisions linking back to the source documents - in PDFs, Powerpoint, Word, etc. This requires really good layout detection and segmentation, that you need to surface as *metadata context* to the AI agent, beyond any document -> markdown conversion. We've built really-nice VLM-capabilities to identify and segment all the elements within your document: from tables to charts to form boxes. You can use this metadata to directly provide experiences where humans can analyze the source document even as decisions are being made. Come check out LlamaParse!

My biggest annoyances with VS Code (and in turn Cursor) is I've never been able to get Find + Multi-Cursor with arrow keys working like I did in Sublime Text I use it a lot to edit lists of text fast I go Cmd+Find "SGD" for example, then Find All, then I literally have 10 cursors on every SGD, I can arrow key through the letters around it, or use Option/Alt-Left or Right to skip through words, or Command-Left or Right to to the beginning or the end of the line Then I can use Shift to select I'm super fast at editing like that but none of the shortcuts work in VS Code or Cursor similarly The internet says use Cmd+Shift+L to do it, but all that happens in Cursor is I end up in the AI chat and I don't wanna go there

Here's an MS Word feature that nobody is talking about and that just blew my mind. Open an blank document in MS Word and click on the "Dicatate" button. Select "Transcribe." Next upload an audio file you want to transcribe. I uploaded recording of one my webinars. It's 3 hours and 17 minutes long. And MS Word will transcribe the whole thing for you in a few minutes. Once it's done transcribing, Word gives you four options: Just text, With speakers, With timestamps, With speakers and timestamps. Choose the one according to your preference and you will have the whole transcript.

What would "vibe editing" look like. Well, let's take a look shall we. This is Descript, which was first to release a product that uses AI agents to edit your videos. "The Cursor for Video Editing" they say. And it is. I think by the end of 2025 it will feel alot like Cursor for Video Editing (it doesn't yet). I made a prediction a few months ago stating that Descript is best suited to win the Vibe Editing battle because their text based editor is elite. Both Adobe and Capcut have tried to their text based editor, and they both kinda suck. There are other companies throwing their hat in the ring, and I think these companies will need to move FAST and raise a lot of money to compete. Ponder William Wang (Clova) Who else? No matter what, i'm hyped for what it can do for our content team.

Okay so today I worked on the coolest part of is my AI video editor: the agent! It's a Cursor-like sidebar and you can just tell it to edit your video with your clips and library for you It's still very basic but it made this edit all by itself! It sends the current state to xAI and then asks it to edit it based on your story Live now for everyone on my site Photo AI 😊 Tomorrow I'll try make it just multi-lanes and become more smart, like it now put my pre-DMT trip videos (with regular hair) sometimes after the DMT trip (with long hair and beard and crazy eyes), but maybe it has a point for that, not sure Anyway very cool cause I hate editing and just talking to AI and letting it figure out is nice!!

But web scraping goes beyond all of that. Imagine giving an AI agent access to any public online data in real time! I like to call this "web-scrapping on demand", and I'm pretty sure it's going to unlock unlimited power for AI applications. I recorded a quick video to show you how you can do this using Apify. I've talked about them before, and they are collaborating with me on this post. Seedance 2.5 is already available in CapCut. Now Seedance 2.5 1080p is live too. I can already see this being useful for product content. One product image can become multiple angles, different environments and different shot sizes. Then instead of exporting everything and starting another editing workflow somewhere else, I can keep working in CapCut PC. Extend the scene with AI Extend, fix the awkward detail with AI Edit, and use Edit Pilot when there’s a pile of edits. 1080p gets you closer to the final look.
