When another employee made it, the store was out of steak and mayo so she just made another meatball sandwich without consulting with the customer first. The customer is upset and says that if they were out of steak then they should have called and let her know so she could get something else instead of having the decision made for her. The employee defended the other employee and claims they aren’t allowed to call the customer and that the situation was appropriate. This woman wasn’t happy with her purchase, so she went back to Target to return it, she didn’t have the receipt but she figured they can look it up because she had the card she used to pay. The employee that handled her return looked like she walked in from the street, oversized sweats with ear buds in and smacking him loudly. The employee claimed she couldn’t find it and proceeded to call for security to remove the customer and also called the police to remove her. The woman started having a panic attack and the employee’s response was “just leave!” I think we need a better solution for returns that’s clean cut and aware to all, how would you feel if you were treated like this, would you just accept you can’t return without a receipt and leave?

She felt that when the boss told her to get a work bag for supplies, it meant she was given permission to buy whatever she wanted.
