#CustomizableVtuber I'm delighted to present the basic body deformation demo today (excluding facial deformation). The base body has been completed, and the face rigging effects showcase will follow afterward.

Tifa Face rig test. I tried making a decent face rig using as few deformation bones as possible. I decided to use this Tifa model (which is from a mobile game) because it has less than 30 bones for the face (including the left and right sides). #b3d #rigging #tifa #FFVII

Vehicles in Gears of War: E-Day have soft body deformation from explosions, as well as amazing material based surface damage effects. This game continues to amaze me in so many little ways

We’re excited to share some incredible news: Opal has officially been accepted by Base to join Base Batches in Buenos Aires. They’ll be flying us out to spend time with the core Base team, have brunch with jesse.base.eth and present Opal to hundreds of VC’s, accelerators and the broader base community. We will also showcase our demo, which will be livestreamed globally, so the entire community can be part of this moment. This is a huge milestone for Opal - Base Batches is the Y Combinator of the base ecosystem. We're honored to be a part of it.

Very simple way to add extra deformation controls to a model/rig without affecting the existing rig and weights.

👔#Live3D #Live2D #Live2DWIP👔 I finished the clothing template for Live3D and added some deformation features that let it freely switch between: skirt → top long sleeves → short sleeves. Putting clothes on means the model has finally taken a step from being just a base body toward becoming a character. So I gave her black underwear to keep things safe from indecency, lol.

A Polish transgender known as Elva, born a man, has SEVERE facial deformation after years of self-injecting silicone. And there will still be people who will cheer him on for being his "authentic self."
