If it’s takeout I’ll rip $2 kinda like ordering a beer, bartender really doesn’t do anything but it’s a courtesy. That said if you’re tipping 20% on a bill for takeout you might as well park your ass at home and pay for delivery.

If you tip them only when they make that the default option then you're actively rewarding that behavior.
