Honestly as the Cybertruck driver I'd be so full of adrenalin I might have sprung over to that dude driving that oncoming car and found myself in jail for taking him to the pavement after the fact. Unbelievably reckless.

Hat tip to the lead slow trailer, who had at least six vehicles stacked up behind presumably without pulling over to let them pass as probably required by law. For who knows how long. Which does not excuse the insane pass attempt.

Why didn't it immediately get back in right lane? I was involved in similar situation at 16, my first couple days in manual trans vehicle and I did one hell of a lot better than that, no one other than offending vehicle was seriously effected or had to dodge me.

The vehicle overtaking started his pass well before the passing zone started. The double yellow lines were due to lack of visibility over the hill. Their impatience and carelessness could have easily ended in fatalities. Be careful out there!

i was about to say maybe the state or local govt had some responsibility in that (the lines in the middle) but no, it was solid yellow going up on either side of the hill. That driver trying to pass while being over a hill was just a complete moron.

The Jeep idiot's entire idea was illegal in the first place. Only at the hill curve can the opposing lane overtake, but as the video shows, only the CT lane had overtake (the broken up yellow line) when the Jeep moved into its lane.

If they’d just waited 10 seconds, all that glorious “safe to pass” space was coming up quick.

Jeep passing in no-passing zone. Jeep passing into a blind spot over a hill. Jeep (likely) speeding on the overtake. Jeep did not return to lane in a timely fashion. It's a times like this you hope that driver got killed or paralyzed.
