Drake has been in 3 public beefs and in both Pusha T and Meek Mill beefs there was no label involvement. The reason why there’s a lawsuit with UMG is because the label got involved in promoting Kendrick’s smear campaign to defame him with pedophile allegations. It’s that simple.

Firstly, I agree with this video—why would UMG have a problem with kendrick and Pusha T being on the same album?🤔 Secondly, maybe UMG is just trying to maximize profits off this beef. Why waste Kendrick and Pusha on the same diss when they can drop separately and double the drama—and the dollars? Both still have one more diss in the chamber to shove down our throats before the public finally checks out. Also—let’s be real. Roc Nation might be managing Pusha now, but UMG is still the distributor behind his music. They’re playing both sides, just under different banners🤣 And, of course, they’ll milk the moment heavily when the SZA tour hits Toronto. Drake Drake Drake—always the centerpiece😏
