Lanning would be smart to weight his options (with no real intention of leaving) to put pressure on Oregon to offer him a huge raise. He’d be crazy not to.

@PeakingQuack The man! He’s got everything he needs to accomplish all his goals right there in Eugene.

Alabama is Alabama. And that goes for DeBoer too.

Yeah but nobody wants to live in Eugene

you always take the meeting, hear the pitch, if only to gauge the competition.

Bama will pay him millions. Hire an assistant to change your drivers license, hire movers to pack your stuff, etc. all of these are things that money solves. Your kids don’t want to move? They may never need to work a day in their life. Big woop.

Changing your license? I think they’ll be able to sort that out for him.

He accepted the position on Monday at the NC game. He gone.

"Why wouldn't I be here?" "I haven't talked to anyone, so let's not create narratives" "There's zero chance that I would be coaching somewhere else" Will Dan Lanning be just another liar? Or will he actually be a man of his word and stay in Oregon?

Lanning to Alabama makes so much sense!
