Great point by Chael . He wasn’t gonna win . Most guys would’ve curled up after the nose break and let DDP get 5 unanswered shots to end the fight . But let’s not for 1 second act like Strickland aint talk the talk but couldn’t walk the walk .

I think the hate is because Sean didn't do anything different from the first fight and kept losing round after round without any urgency. The broken nose in the fourth essentially guaranteed the DDP victory, when Sean went into survival mode.

I agree. I’m not even a Strickland fan, was thrilled DDP obliterated him, but he did what he has done for the last 2 years, he just got beat by a beast. And he got his face broken yet still kept fighting! Most people after that shot would have mentally checked out, and he did not

Yes his performance was God awful for a guy who says he’s “doing the man dance” and willing to “fight to the death” just to stand there in that dumb ass stance pawing and throwing front kicks. He shouldn’t even be ranked after his last few performances
