You can see the gloves in some bits of the fight when the CGI glitches.

This movie was horrible.

Best soundtrack ever?

I believe you’re referring to the incorrect scene displayed. If I understand correctly, it is the scene where 007 follows Patrice into the building… 🍻

They’ve proven that it wasn’t this scene. But if you watch the skyscraper scene his gloves come and go so I imagine it’s during that sequence. We see him take them off to check the gun and he doesn’t put them back on but they’re on when he goes to stop Patrice from falling.

Skyfall (2012) Here are my MovieNerd scores where I score many movies. It’s a lot of fun. I gave it highest score because of screenplay and cinematography. You can give it a try yourself too.

This is a good reminder of how fragile continuity can be at scale. Skyfall working at that level means a single performance choice can ripple into core plot mechanics.

Almost completly untrue. Corridor Crew debunked this. There is a cgi Hand replacement scene. But it's short and in a completly Different Kontext. Also you dont just wear your private gloves in a movie, that's just an Internet myth.

Wrong scene

Why would he have gloves on in a casino aswell?

Why tf did he insist on gloves? Who wears gloves indoors at a black tie event?

I mean, for one, he doesn’t even use his gun in this scene, for two, they would never have signed off on him wearing leather gloves in a full tuxedo. You’ve got the entirely wrong scene here…

Wrong scene. Not sure why this is always inaccurately reported. It was the glass building in Shanghai. First look promo shot vs final film.

This wasn’t the scene as shown in the corridor digital breakdown it was a later scene with the fight with the assassin in the skyscraper.

Craig doesn't use a gun in all this scene. What are you talking about?

This is why I love behind-the-scenes stories. Bond nearly gets ruined by a pair of leather gloves he bought himself. Iconic chaos. 😂

That’s not true. Or at least not for this scene. That rumour has spread about the scene where Bond follows Patrice into the skyscraper. But even then it’s doubtful- we see Bond take the gloves off in the car.

It’s not this scene you clown, it’s the scene where he is tracking Patrice

Why do they remove errors like this, but leave in ridiculous plot holes?

He doesn't touch the gun so why were they panicking?

I don't understand why this scene required gloves. The more I hear about Craig, the more he seems like a pompous know-it-all. Side note: most will say komodos don't get this big. There are stories from WW2 GIs clearing remote S Pacific islands who claimed otherwise! 😬

Didn’t even notice that

Not gloves on this scene, the gloves was used when Bond is fighting with Patrice in Shanghai

Daniel Craig is the worst thing to have ever happened to James Bond

Daniel Craig eventually ruined Bond when he insisted Bond get killed off.

The man in the background in the first scene is the same man who fights Tom Cruise and Henry Cavill in the restroom in the movie M.I. Fallout.

This is where Indian Cinema is better than Hollywood. We would have just explained that the gloves could imprint the fingerprint onto the gun. Also helps infiltrate "Chinese Attendance keepers" 😋 ..... Thanks Q... No reshoot or VFX. £ in the Bank for Money penny!!

This is a perfect example of how small actor choices can ripple through production and how VFX has become a safety net for even the tiniest continuity crises. ⚡

Why the fuck would he wear a glove in a casino scene? That's bullshit.

Respectfully. Pretty sure you've shown the wrong scene! I recall it's when he's after the assassin in the Glass building and hitches the elevator up that he's wearing the gloves. This was the sequence that caused the carnage.

Daniel Craig nearly broke Skyfall with one fashion choice Gloves vs fingerprint scanner = production nightmare. Insane that VFX quietly saved the entire plot without reshooting. This is why Skyfall is still peak Bond - they handled it perfectly behind the scenes!

They fixed the problem pretty well 👏👏

Pouted his way through that film in particular. Pierce Brosnan above him as bond any day.

It wasn't this scene. It was the scene when he creeps up on Patrice, whilst holding his gun, because at the end of the scene when Patrice is hanging out of the window, Bond is mysteriously wearing gloves, but he hasn't been throughout the rest of the scene...

This and Casino are the best of the Craig era

Romi Rain says directors would emotionally manipulate and guilt performers into doing unscripted acts on sex stills "The director would be like, 'Hey, I know this is just a boy-girl scene, but do you mind if he puts a few fingers in your ass?' You're naked, already having sex with somebody, with all of these people standing around you. Different things are different prices. So you say, 'No, I'm not comfortable with that.' And directors would literally pout: 'It would make the scene so much better. So-and-so did it.' They make you feel like saying no would cost you work."
