This man was pulled over by ICE, he was in America illegally so he was detained. Obviously there was Lewis on the inside, which I don't think he expected that Max was on the outside of me. And so there was a little bit of contact and then I went on the dirty side of the track, no grip at all. And I couldn't really stay there as the angle with Lewis was just impossible to make a corner. So I had to go straight, but it was quite stressful. I really thought the race would end not only for me, but also for Lewis and for Max, but mostly for Lewis. Q: Are you happy with how your teammate moved at the start as well? Charles: It's racing, I think Lewis wanted to try and take his shot. Lore drop: A little over 10 years ago, I thought someone was breaking into the AppLovin office at 2am. Back then, tech offices getting broken into and having their electronics stolen wasn't exactly unheard of in the Bay Area. So when the alarm went off, I thought it was go-time. My heart was pounding. I was ready to grab a pool cue and fight to the death over some MacBooks and computer monitors. Turns out I was the intruder... I had triggered the motion sensor because apparently nobody in their right mind would be working at the office at 2am😂

This young man was handwashing his car since there was no line here. He does it all the time. The cars we see are for the automatic car wash. Anyways he already paid once and got water in the bucket so he could hand wash, after he did that he was preparing to put more money in so he could rinse. An employee comes up and takes the money out of his hand and pushes him and tells him to leave. Claiming Hess making others wait yet we see nobody there waiting. Would you have left too? The cops came and heard him out but since the employee wanted him to never come back, he was asked to respect that. I used to do this all the time especially when traveling. Sometimes I like doing it in the winter because of all the salt and such, I don’t want it damaging my paint. One time I decided to do this at about 2 in the morning on the way to the gym. Obviously there was nobody there and there is usually an officer parked in the parking lot because there used to be reports of people parking back there in the dark sleeping and doing other stuff. I was in the middle of my hand wash when a homeless man literally climbed from behind the dumpster nearby and asked why I was being noisy. I told him I was only washing my car and I was allowed to as it was a 24 hr spot and h paid after all. He started being unreasonable and I flagged the officer behind me, it took him about 30 seconds to notice and he pulled up and I explained what was going on. He said he figured that’s what I was doing since he often saw me doing it before. He did tell the homeless man to leave, and he did without incident. I was able to finish rinsing and drying my car and I left. I don’t live in a bad area, so I don’t feel unsafe doing this, have you ever had an issue washing the car at night? Night time is so much better, quieter and less busy.

At the time, I was in Macau, and P'Van told me that there was going to be a fan meeting in Bangkok. So I talked with the team about what kind of performance we should do and what song I should sing. I asked if they had any suggestions and if they could help me think of something. Personally, I felt that since we were in Thailand, I wanted to do something that had a little bit of a Thai feel to it. At first, I was going to perform a Nora dance (the one she performed during the MGT competition), but there was the time constraint, and also... what do you call it... the art and technique of Nora. A week just wasn’t enough time to prepare for it. So I thought, okay, maybe I’ll just do a traditional Thai dance instead or something like that. I was okay with the idea and suggested it to P'Van. She was really sweet about it. She was like, “Okay,” and agreed with me, then I suggested doing the song “Once Upon a Time.” But I told her it probably wouldn’t be the version that P'Prangtip sings, because it’s really difficult. Her version is in Luk Thung style, and I was like, “Whoa, I really can’t do that.” My skills aren’t at that level yet. So I figured I’d just sing it in my own style for now.

This Veteran was driving into town. He noticed a funeral procession and pulled over. He noticed on the back of the hearse there was a USMC sticker, so he got out and stood at attention and saluted. “And as I did that, cars behind me started to honk. And they weren’t happy. I kept that salute through the honking and people scooting by…. I don’t know what kind of world we live in anymore and I don’t know if I’m created for a world that doesn’t exist anymore….So the question is, did I do what was right? Or am I just an echo from a long bygone era?” I salute you brother! You were taught and raised well, raised with respect. People don’t even pull over anymore. Not sure if they were taught to do so or they are all just in a dang big hurry like the rest of the world is to get where they need to be.
