Misaligned economies and AI share the same challenge: incentives. Achieving alignment requires designing AI systems with goals that genuinely benefit humanity, avoiding the acceleration of existing disparities. I agree this is a complex puzzle, but one worth solving for a better future. It’s unfortunate that a common threat to humanity likely stands a better chance to encourage global cooperation and align AI development towards shared goals than traditional holistic approaches like diplomatic dialogue.

"I'm arguing we're already there [the dangers of agi] and it's our world system" He's saying *our world system* poses greatest agi risk by accelerating humanity's work In other words- humans fear themselves; they made themselves god and fear the destructive work of their hands

He is totally right. And I think it’s even clearer in politics, where the results are the complete opposite to the original intentions. Even without the human factor, there’s no good or efficient way of adjusting measures to get closer to the desired outcome
