National Security Risk? Meet Alberta’s New Police Chief with Foreign Ties: Satpal Singh Parhar On July 2, 2025, Premier Danielle Smith appointed Satpal Singh Parhar (a.k.a. Sat Parhar) as the inaugural chief of Alberta’s new provincial police force—despite what critics call a “tainted past.” We combed through court filings, corporate records, and government tenders, uncovering findings that raise serious national security concerns for both Canada and the United States, especially given Alberta’s shared border with Montana. Our investigation uncovered the following about Chief Satpal Singh Parhar: 📌He is president and shareholder (through a numbered company) of ReTrain Canada. 📌ReTrain Canada powers ReTrain Nigeria, which offers courses in cybersecurity and lists Huawei—the Chinese tech giant banned by Canada and the U.S. over espionage risks—as a client. 📌Until recently, he was president of a mental health clinic treating RCMP officers, despite holding financial ties to Huawei via another firm. 📌He was previously accused of nepotism in a lawsuit filed by fellow Calgary Police officer Bruce Walker. 📌He was once the subject of an investigation for allegedly failing to investigate internal misconduct involving evidence fabrication. 📌His company, ReTrain Canada, received several non-competitive, sole-sourced federal contracts—one worth nearly $100,000. 📌He is currently named in an active $3.5 million lawsuit filed by a former Calgary Police officer who was acquitted of breach of trust charges. 📌Appears to have no formal post-secondary education, aside from scattered certificates. 📌The Calgary Police Chief who promoted him to Deputy Chief—Roger Chaffin—was accused by his successor, Chief Mark Neufeld, of authorizing a $500,000 "sham" severance package for a legal counsel who gave herself a $50,000 raise. Just hours after we sent a media inquiry to Chief Parhar regarding undisclosed business ties omitted from his LinkedIn profile, his profile was deleted. "Danielle Smith wants this guy looking after the Canada-U.S. border where massive amounts of drug transport is taking place every single day," protests Bob Rai, a concerned Albertan who lived through the nightmare of having the police investigation into his cousin's tragic death compromised by a fake Nigerian forensic pathologist whose medical diploma has never been primary source verified. Concerned about the integrity of this new police force, Mr. Rai raises questions about what kind of police force will be created under Chief Parhar's leadership—especially given his business ties to immigration firms and Premier Danielle Smith's new policy to grant foreign police officers a pathway to PR for policing Albertans. "I think that this is absolutely ridiculous, I think she is trying to grow her own private police force -- and become her own little dictator," expressed Rai. SCANDAL: Alberta’s Police Chief Was Appointed by the Same Board He Chaired Danielle Smith’s government silently went along with the fact that the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board, tasked with finding the most qualified Albertan to lead the new provincial police force, chose its own chairman, Satpal Singh Parhar, for the job. Having hidden this critical conflict of interest concerning the safety and security of Albertans has rattled critics, who are now calling for the resignation of Chief Parhar, the entire board, Minister Mike Ellis, and Premier Danielle Smith. Last week, in our in-depth report raising national security concerns about the questionable selection of Chief Parhar—prior to our discovery that he had served as chair—Minister Ellis’s press secretary stated that the process was “independently led by the Independent Agency Police Service Oversight Board and adhered to established public sector protocols for executive-level appointments.” This revelation shatters the credibility of that statement and raises serious questions about integrity, transparency, and accountability at every level of Danielle Smith’s government. If this is what “established public sector protocols” look like, Albertans deserve to know how many other appointments are built on the same foundation of conflict of interest. Chief Parhar, Premier Smith, and Minister Ellis have not responded to our media inquiry, leaving unanswered whether U.S. security agencies were consulted about this appointment—an especially pressing question given Alberta’s shared border with Montana and the persistent threat of transnational crime, including fentanyl trafficking. This investigation is far from over, and Media Bezirgan needs your financial support to continue uncovering this scandal. I’d like to thank law enforcement and Intelligence community for pointing out the fact that Parhar used to be the chair of the board that ultimately appointed him chief.

Calgary Singh BUSTED With 170 lb of Cocaine at US-Canada Border Freed on $0 Bail Next Day Surj Singh Salaria, a Calgary-based commercial truck driver, is facing three serious criminal charges for attempting to traffic 170 pounds of cocaine into Canada from the United States through the Montana–Alberta Coutts border crossing on September 25, 2025. While Canada’s multi-billion-dollar state media complex reported on Singh’s charges, it failed to dig deeper to determine whether he had been granted bail. According to court documents obtained by independent researcher Bob Rai, Singh was granted bail the very next day after his arrest by a provincial Justice of the Peace — for $0 bail and under extremely lax conditions, including permission to travel freely within the province and no curfew requirements. The swiftness of his release, despite being caught with $7 million worth of narcotics, raises serious questions about Canada’s ability to deter international drug trafficking. “The level of corruption and criminality in Canada, driven by a political-criminal nexus, is unmatched in the world,” stressed Rai, adding that the justice system’s inadequacy in handling ethno-religious organized crime is, in his view, one of the reasons for U.S. concern over Canada. We’ve seen Singh after Singh busted with huge amounts of narcotics and fentanyl — but how do they launder the cash? Mr. Rai explains that Punjabi gangs in Canada often use a money-transfer method that’s legal here but illegal in the U.S.: hawala. “I can speak for the Sikh-Punjabi ethnic gangs that have many members of parliament like Jasraj Singh Hallan, Tim Singh Uppal, and other Singhs in Ottawa, as well as all the provincial Singhs aligned under the dirty World Sikh Organization,” Rai stated, pointing out Hallan's gangster past and Uppal's alleged proximity to international drug traffickers, according to Canadian and Indian court documents. He also raises concerns about Alberta's premier Danielle Smith allowing Satpal Singh Parhar to appoint himself as the chief of Alberta's new police force despite his proximity to organized crime, as per various court filings. “Sat Singh Parhar will now be in charge of a 300 km international border, and I couldn't imagine what he will be doing with all of that intelligence received from federal and international agencies, and he will be profiliating and assisting high-level drug traffickers crossing the international border,” Rai expressed. To the Inspector General of Police TUNJI DISU and the entire leadership of the Nigerian Police Force Nigeria Police Force, This is a formal call for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the individual known as VeryDarkMan for his blatant assault on the integrity of the Force and the office of the newly appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police, Margaret Ochalla. In a widely circulated video, this individual has crossed every line of decency and legality by attempting to intimidate a high ranking officer of the law through baseless allegations of blackmail and corruption. It is an affront to the Nigerian state that a private citizen would feel empowered to address a DIG with such condescension, calling her “Mama” while simultaneously issuing veiled threats that she will “learn the hard way” if she does not abandon her constitutional duties. This behaviour constitutes a direct attempt to obstruct the course of justice and undermine the authority of the Force Criminal Investigation Department. VeryDarkMan claims his social media platform is superior to the law and uses it as a weapon to bully public officials who are tasked with maintaining order and investigating crimes. Allowing such public harassment to go unpunished sets a dangerous precedent where influencers believe they can dictate the direction of police investigations through digital mob action and character assassination. His statement that the path the DIG is taking is a burning one is a clear attempt to incite fear and prevent a public officer from carrying out her lawful mandate. The Nigerian Police Force must act decisively to protect its officers from this brand of cyber intimidation and verbal assault. We cannot have a society where the rule of law is replaced by the whims of a social media personality who believes he is above the statutes of the land. This individual should be taken into custody immediately to answer for these defamatory statements and his attempts to interfere with active legal proceedings. Justice must be served, and the dignity of the Nigerian Police Force must be upheld against those who seek to drag its leadership into disrepute for the sake of online engagement. Condemning these actions is not enough; there must be firm legal consequences to ensure that the office of the DIG and the entire police structure remain respected and free from intimidation. Arresting VeryDarkMan will serve as a deterrent to others who believe that a large following gives them the right to threaten the custodians of our national security.

HISTORYSHEETER ROWDY ARRESTED; FAMILY ATTACKED POLICEMEN A 26-year-old history-sheeter was arrested during a ganja raid in Pulianthope after police seized narcotic substances from his residence. Police also registered a separate case against his relatives for attacking officers during the operation. A video of the altercation later circulated on social media. Acting on a tip-off about the sale of ganj in the Pulianthope, a team from the Basin Bridge Police Station, led by Sub-Inspector Krishnakumar and other personnel, conducted a raid on a house in Gandhi Nagar Fifth Street on Sunday night. The house belonged to Nandakumar, 26, who is listed as a history-sheeter by the police. During the search, officers seized 29 packets of ganja weighing a total of 10 grams and six syringes from the premises. Police said women present in the house initially objected to the search and attempted to prevent officers from carrying out the raid. After Nandakumar was arrested and police attempted to take him into custody, his mother and other female relatives assaulted the officers. According to police, the officers used force to protect themselves and bring the situation under control. A video showing the confrontation between police personnel and the family members subsequently went viral on social media platforms. Nandakumar was taken to the Basin Bridge Police Station, where a case was registered against him under relevant provisions relating to possession of narcotic substances. He was inquired further. In a related development, Nandakumar’s mother, Meena, went to the police station and demanded her son’s release. Police said she injured her wrist with a razor blade during the protest and argued with officers inside the station premises. She was later sent away after intervention by police personnel. The Basin Bridge police registered a separate case against Nandakumar’s relatives for obstructing and assaulting police personnel during the raid.

“CSIS was motivated to destroy any investigation that the RCMP was conducting, allowing the true perpetrators to get away,” says former Sikh who grew up in Surrey, BC. Today is the 39th anniversary of Canada’s deadliest terror attack. The masterminds of this attack are still among us and have yet to be brought to justice. What’s more concerning is that they may have a stronghold over Canadian politics and institutions. I asked Bob Rai, a former member of the cult responsible for the attack: Who were the true masterminds? Today, Sikh (Khalistani) extremists claim that it was the Indian government itself that blew up Air India Flight 182, killing 329 people. This is the narrative the World Sikh Organization, a Canada-based umbrella organization claiming to represent Sikhs, has pushed. Canadians, on the other hand, are convinced that it was Canadian-Sikh (Khalistani) extremist Talwinder Singh Parmar who masterminded the attack. But according to Bob Rai, the real masterminds were neither India nor Parmar, and are still walking among us with significant political influence over Canadian politics. Rai, who regards Parmar as a tribal man, does not believe he was sophisticated enough to mastermind the world’s deadliest aviation terror attack committed from Canadian soil, especially without any inside help. Rai disputes both the WSO’s rejected narrative and Canada’s accepted narrative: “The ayatollah was interrogated multiple times right after the airplane bombing in 1985 — the ayatollah of Sikhism, the ayatollah of the World Sikh Organization.” Rai’s source, a retired RCMP officer who was part of the disaster task force in 1985, confirmed that the “ayatollah” was indeed interrogated more than once, as opposed to just once as was previously claimed.
