I got airsick just watching that.

Good job. With strong gusty winds, if looks like the side-slip wasn’t working so well, and he had to switch back and forth between side-slipping and crabbing, until terrain partially blocked gusts and allowed a little consistency nearer the numbers. Would’ve been funner without the passengers. The maximum demonstrated crosswind limit for most classic De Havilland Dash 8 series aircraft is 36 knots on a dry, hard runway.

That was some awesome piloting—wow!

After all wheels down and slowed down...What do you think the pilots first words were? Mine would be something like..."I never doubted we would make it down. I just doubted we would live."

Using the algorithm to see inside the aircraft 😳🤣😎

Pilot, Attention you will feel some turbulence. Passengers, riding a bull is easier than staying strapped in the seat.

That would be a gut wrenching ride....

I think the pilot is just having fun.

The pilot did well to NOT let the wind get under his right wing. More fishtailing than I like, but he got it right where it counted. 👍🏽

To rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby Rock the boat, don't tip the boat over Rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby Rock the boattttt

That must've been a wild ride for those passengers! 😅😂

Skill level 100 but a 💩-your-pants kind of flight though.

Skill, experience, and a large set!

I'll never forget the day my 14 yr old son landed a Blanik in a 27 MPH crosswind. "Flew the pants off that glider", said Joe, his instructor.

Amazing!

What the hell? Unbelievable.

Holy Shite! Wow, well done!

Good thing they make them with rudders!

That was an awesome crosswind landing.

Amazing skill. I suspect my landings would look like that in clear weather though.

I would have hated being a passenger in this plane (with a full stomach).

It takes not only courage but also good technical skills

Just an average day for Wellington airport 😬

Never a fan of flying in them as a passenger, small and a bug fart pushes them around.

👏👊🎯

That tail rudder got the workout of it's life.

Very common in the Caribbean

💪

Impressive « final leg »!!!!

Bravo!

Finger out.

Does that include new underwear when we get to the gate?

Skill of pilots
