It's true to some extent, but ai tools like Claude and chatgpt are already good at analysing data and also now you can connect Claude to your excel sheet to analyze data,the only thing I think you should be worried about is privacy and data protection

My friend is currently working 3 data engineering jobs in legacy industries at the same time. Man is eating good. A lot of people's reality are different.

I'm a software developer and I can tell you it's real. The roles are not dead but fewer jobs are going to definitely chase more people out on the long run. Junior roles will disappear thereby making newbies struggle for entry.

The only thing solved is code syntax, and even that’s only partially solved. You still have to do some work on it; otherwise, you'll still have to think like an engineer and acquire the necessary skills and knowledge. Knowledge will be the biggest investment in the near future.
