🚨 New a16z request for startups: "delightful utility" apps 🚨 Have you spun the discount wheel while shopping on Temu? Or grown emotionally attached to the Duolingo owl? Maybe you cycle harder on Peloton when you see your position on the leaderboard drop or log back into Snapchat just for your streak. The bar to create the next breakout hit is now higher because we've satiated many consumer needs. New apps need to not only provide core utility for users, but wrap that value in an experience that's genuinely engaging and delightful. A few illustrative ideas: - Visual-first no-code platforms that make AI prompting intuitive and rewarding - AI matchmakers (for dating/hiring/groups) with distinct personalities that users bond with - Social credit card games with real stakes and competition - IP-driven AI companions that offer both entertainment and emotional support When the competition for attention is fierce, sometimes the moat is engagement itself—delivering value, but in a way that's more captivating than competitors. We're looking for: - Fast time to delight: Games put you immediately in the action. How quickly can you deliver the magic moment to users? What subsequent moments keep them coming back? - Founders with viral instincts. Driving attention isn't random—it's a repeatable skill set. In today's competitive landscape, founders need to naturally generate buzz and drive attention to themselves. - Monetization that scales with engagement. The best apps offer spending opportunities proportional to user investment. Simple subscriptions create a step-function demand curve, think like a game and monetize discretely along the entire curve. - Genuine stickiness. High retention across both paid and free users signals true product-market resonance. This can't be faked—it proves your core loop works. If you're building in this space, apply to speedrun. We want to back founders who are creating delightful experiences and take fun seriously.

My latest AIGC film "Him" is here ( finally )! "Quan, a girl from Haixian, sets out on a journey to Min City in search of him. But when she finally arrives at her destination, everything takes an unexpected turn…" Image:Midjourney V6.1 Video: Dreamina AI 3.0 Eight months have passed since the release of The Thin Man The Gun The Hotpot, and my new work, Him, is finally ready to meet the audience. This film marks a significant departure from my previous creative style. One of my original intentions in making Him was to explore a new visual language and narrative rhythm. I was fortunate to utilize the Dreamina AI Video 3.0 model in the production of this film. At the same time, Him is also my tribute to the genre of “cruel youth” stories. For teenageers, the world often appears more pure—yet that very purity makes emotions feel all the more weighty.Him is a love story. It’s not a love story. And at its core—it is still a love story. I’ve retained the Sichuan-Chongqing setting, but placed it within a fictional world to create an experience that feels both familiar and fresh. The visual style of this piece is inspired by the gouache illustrations once found in old Chinese language textbooks—imagery that defined the visual memories of an entire generation. To me, those gouache paintings have become synonymous with nostalgia. I’m curious to see how audiences will respond to this stylistic approach. On a deeper level, I hope this story can deliver a moment of genuine emotional resonance—something I wasn’t quite able to achieve in The Thin man The Gun The Hotpot. Due to family and work responsibilities, the production of Him, which began in February, has progressed in fits and starts. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Dreamina team for their tremendous support. The Dreamina Action provided invaluable inspiration and insights during the writing stage. It was like a creative partner, brainstorming and shaping the story with me. If you liked Sailor Suit and Machine Gun, or Better Days, then maybe—just maybe—you’ll like Him too. Thank you for watching! For 4K, you can watch it at

claude bot made $700,000 in a month for its owner. thanks to one file. > $42,921 today > $160,086 past week > $692,922 past month everyone writes claude motivational speeches: - "be a senior engineer" - "think step by step" - "be careful" doesn't work - claude already knows all that. what's missing is a CLAUDE.md like this guy's: ## Project high-frequency arbitrage on polymarket btc + eth 5-min and 15-min markets. dual-entry strategy. fixed risk, fixed profit target. ## Strategy: DUAL mode ## Mode A: high-confidence (60% of capital) - enter at 50-70c when poly_implied agrees with spot trend - target +50-100% per trade (~$6k profit) - size: $4,000-$8,000 per position ## Mode B: tail bets (40% of capital) - enter at 3-25c when own model says 35%+ probability - target +200-1300% per trade - size: $400-$1,800 per position ## IMPORTANT IMPORTANT: hold all positions to resolution. NO early exit IMPORTANT: skip if same market hit our books in last 60s IMPORTANT: cap daily risk at $50,000. hard stop ## Rules - NEVER exit before market resolution - NEVER trade on news (CPI, FOMC, ETF decisions) - NEVER size > 8% of bankroll on single position - skip first 60 sec of any 5-min market (illiquid) - pause 5 min after any $100+ BTC move ## Out of scope - never touch the wallet. read-only access - do not chase: skip if same market touched within 60s one rule = one mistake claude won't make again. each of his trades, around $6,000 profit. how? because that's what's written in CLAUDE.md: "target ~$6K per trade". not more, not less. > the system doesn't get nervous, doesn't chase, doesn't wait for a better price. > sees edge ≥ 4c and enters. > sees a tail 3c with own probability 35% - enters. > waits for resolution. > takes profit. > moves to next market. 29,596 times. his profile: this is the difference between "user of claude" and "operator of claude". the first writes wishes. the second writes technical specs. don't waste your time, level up your claude before it's too late.

I didn’t expect Crimson Desert to grow on me this much, but here we are. 🫢 After putting more hours into Crimson Desert and getting close to the ten hour mark, I’ll be honest: my opinion of the game has shifted in a much more positive direction. Combat feels significantly better now that I’ve unlocked more skills, exploration is a ton of fun, and while the story is basically nonexistent, I personally don’t mind since I’m not the type of player who needs heavy narrative to enjoy a game. I’ve also done a few puzzles, and so far I’m really enjoying them. I genuinely appreciate that the game does not hold your hand. Enough with the yellow paint in every modern game. Developers should just force us to actually think 🤣 I’m constantly unlocking or discovering something new every couple of minutes. The game is absolutely massive. On the technical side, most of the visual issues I had are now gone after turning off DLSS and playing at native resolution, along with lowering lighting from Max to Cinematic. One of these changes, or maybe both, made the game far more stable, and visually it now looks phenomenal. I still find myself stopping just to admire how beautiful it is. My rating has gone from a 7-7.5 to an 8.5-9, and based on what I’ve played so far, that jump feels completely justified. The overall takeaway is that Crimson Desert does not fully click until you unlock more of its systems. The early hours undersell it, but once combat, exploration, puzzles and the world open up, the experience becomes dramatically better. I also love this intro when you start the game or load a save. It gives the whole experience a special feeling and sets the tone perfectly every single time. :)

HOLY SHIT Yesterday I wrote an article on how to create your own Claude Bot step by step As an example, I mentioned a Claude bot that turned $300 → $2.4M in just 4 months Most of you reacted negatively, while some reacted positively-thank you all I spent a sleepless night trying to understand why this bot is so successful : > analyzed the BTC, ETH, and SOL charts over the last 4 months > why the bot entered or didn’t enter a position > in which sessions does the bot trade better: London, New York, or Asia > when it closes positions and when it adds to them Whole night without sleep, and in the morning I put the bot on a backtest I slept for about 8 hours, so I won’t say how long the backtest itself took When I woke up, I realized that I had succeeded Backtesting was able to do what this Claude Bot did: Also here you can copy its positions without any knowledge of code👆🏼 Most of you will say that this is a scam and won’t even try, and that’s why most people are poor. All you need to successfully create a bot is: - Patience - Willingness - A little free time (maybe a bit more than you think) Just read this article. From A to Z and try to get started Believe me, you’ll be amazed at what Claude is capable of I would be grateful for your support, and if any questions arise, I’ll try to answer everyone in DMs. I also prepared an article for you about the closed version of Claude Mythos, which everyone says can hack anything So follow and turn on notifications so you don’t miss a lot of interesting things. Good luck

Ever seen a fresh (20x) Claude Max account's 5-hour usage allowance get drained in ~14 minutes? Feast your eyes on my bizarre life now with this screen recording of a recent live work session, something I've gotten at least 100 requests for over the past month. Maybe you can understand now why I need so many accounts and how I can work on so many different projects. You can also see the truth of what I was saying recently about how, once your plan is done and the beads made and polished, it's mostly just machine-tending the swarm that doesn't require much thought. Lots of just telling it to get the next bead and work on it, to review code, to re-read AGENTS dot md after a compaction, etc. And you can see how I use gemini-cli for code review. I give Google a lot of crap for the harness being broken and the capacity overloads, but when it works, it's actually really good for this code review use case. I don't usually let it write new code, though, because I think Opus and 5.2 do a better job. Also, sorry the recording is a bit blurry; I have a 5K resolution monitor and screen recordings usually are hard to watch from it. And btw, this really wasn't that normal of a session for me, it was more frenetic than usual, because I don't want to dox myself or my clients by accident. Hence all the ceaseless terminal tab swirling. I usually do more planning work while this stuff is going on, but I wanted to minimize the chances of leaking important information. That's also why I didn't refresh the Gemini login in the WezTerm window, which killed me, trust me. It's the reason I hate doing these screen recordings in the first place; it kills my productivity. Anyway, hope you liked it. I will also post to YouTube, see reply for link. Thanks for watching.

Blades of Fire | Hands-On Gameplay Impressions ▪️Recap: New action-adventure IP from MercurySteam (Metroid Dread, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow) ▪️Coming to PS5, Xbox and PC on May 22 ▪️Around 60-70 hours long to complete ▪️You play as Aran de Lira, a forger and warrior who, after suffering a personal tragedy, "finds himself in possession of a magic hammer that lets him enter the forge of the gods to create the only weapons able to defeat Queen Nerea’s forces" ▪️The world is "squarely in fantasy territory", "rich, overabundant, lavish fantasy, as well as occasionally brutal and twisted" ▪️Magic courses through a land teeming with flowers and buzzing with wildlife, and creatures like trolls and elementals romp around ▪️Soldiers sort of look a bit like the Locust from Gears of War, chunky, loitering around. The whole game feels like it has a "chunkiness" to it, a bit like Blizzard games (hands and arms are oversized, buildings/walls are double thick). Combines to make a pleasing visual picture and give a sturdy, hefty feel ▪️"Wildly customizable weapons saves it from being just another action game", "combat is refreshingly different" ▪️Combat: Rooted in directional attacks that use every face button on a controller. On a DualSense for example, Δ aims for the head, X goes for the torso, while ⏹️ and ⭕️ swipe left and right respectively ▪️An enemy holding up a blade to protect their face for instance, can be overcome by aiming low and skewering through their gut ▪️Example: A troll boss can have a second health bar that can only be chipped away after dismembering it. If you use your right hand attacks, you can cut off its club-wielding left arm or cut off its entire face, leaving it blind and aimlessly flailing until it can regrow its eyes back ▪️Your attack and dodge stamina must be manually restored by holding the block button instead of automatically regenerating ▪️You can swap between 4 different weapons on the fly, wield your weapons via different stances, either slashing with the sharp edge or thrusting with the pointed tip; assess enemies to determine which methods are the most effective ▪️Rather than finding new weapons out in the game world, every weapon's life starts in the Forge ▪️You can create up to 7 different weapon types, from twin axes to polearms ▪️You start with your choice of a basic weapon template and tweak and modify and name, for example you can adjust the length of a spear's pole and the shape of its spear head which affects its stats ▪️A longer pole increases the spear's range, while its head shape dictates if its better at slashing or piercing ▪️Different materials also affect a weapon's weight which has an effect on your stamina pool ▪️You then physically hammer out the metal in-game on the anvil through a "remarkably involved minigame", where you control the length, force and angle of every hammer strike ▪️There is a curved line onscreen that represents the ideal weapon, you arrange a series of vertical bars to try and match the shape of that curved line with each hammer strike. Overworking results in a weaker weapon. You're rewarded with a star rating, the more stars you get, the more you can repair your weapon before it permanently breaks ▪️You can instantly remake weapons you've made before to save time ▪️Some found the weapon forging system to be "frustratingly obtuse", as there didn't seem to be a clear connection between the areas struck and the resulting shape of the metal; hoping for better tutorial or improvements before launch ▪️MercurySteam wants you to feel deeply attached to the weapons you create and carry them with you for the duration of your journey ▪️If you die, you lose your weapon upon respawning, but you can go back to where you died to retrieve them ▪️After playing for 3 hours, some hands-on impressions were unsure if the game can support a variety of a 60 hour game ("within 3 hours I’d fought the same gatekeeping miniboss 3 times") ▪️Others also felt there were uneven difficulty spikes, the game chucks multiple types of enemies at you, sometimes in confined areas. Can sometimes feel like you waste precious weapons, rest at an anvil to reforge and then enemies respawn again ▪️One previewer noted that when they started slowing down and nosing through the game's menus and built-in tips to see what they were doing wrong, they learned the game's nuances and it clicked Previews IGN: Full IGN Gameplay: Mirror: Eurogamer: #BladesofFire

$ASTS | Scott Wisniewski at JP Morgan conference, May 18, 2026 Transcript - part 1 Good afternoon, everyone. I'm Sebastiano Petty, and I cover the telecom, cable, and satellite space here at J.P. Morgan. I'd like to welcome Scott Wisniewski, President and Chief Strategy Offer of ASTS Space Mobile. Scott, thanks for joining us. Thank you for having me. You're good. You're live. Can you hear me? All right. Thank you for having me. Great. So, Scott, just to start, let's zoom out. As you sit here in mid-2026, with Bluebirds launching, commercial service activation approaching, and the government pipeline accelerating, where are you spending most of your time as President and Chief Strategy Officer? And more broadly, what are your two to three highest priority objectives over the next 18 months as you transition from what has primarily been an R&D and manufacturing story into a scaled revenue-generating operating company? Thank you. And for those who don't know us that well, we were founded about a decade ago around the direct-to-device opportunity. That's what we do. That's our entire strategy. It's from space, of course, and we build our own satellites, and we'll be operating them and selling capacity on them. But at its core, we are a direct-to-device pure play. And over the years, I met our founder in January 2019, but over the years, telling our equity story, people always asked three questions. Does it work? Can you fund it? And how big will the market be, or will there be a market? And that's our traditional private company questions that we still got even as a public company for a while, and we really retired those risks in 2023, 2024, and 2025. And so this year, yeah, you're exactly right. Traditional growth stuff, scaling stuff is where we are. And for us, if I were to say two simple things, one is network deployment. The vast majority of the folks in the company are focused on exactly that, network deployment now for revenue in 2026 and 2027 and beyond. And then the second one is, I think, building the market out in the right way. This is a brand new service. It's a service that is at the very heart of connectivity. Remember, we all know the trends in connectivity. When I started my career in connectivity, there was a question, bubble, what inning are we in? When is the expansion going to end? And then, of course, AI comes along, and there's always something every couple of years. So for us, we're at the heart of connectivity. We can do coverage better than any terrestrial footprint by its very nature. And making connectivity work for our partners, the mobile network operators, and ultimately for the consumer mass market among other markets, is our focus. So building out that market is our second priority. Great. And let's address the news from last week. AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile announced a proposed joint venture to extend mobile connectivity using satellite-based D2D technologies. You guys put out a statement commending the announcement. Unpack this for us. What does this mean for ASTS in practice? Does it change your commercial positioning with the carriers? Does it accelerate or maybe even complicate your path to service? So we really value the carrier relationship. We've organized the business, the technology, the go-to-market strategy. Everything we do, really, is about making connectivity better for the mobile network operators. And so you see that in where we've prioritized the company over the years. You see that in how we've built out the tech. And even the network stack is organized with the RAN on the ground, so the operators control it. So that's really been our focus. We share their spectrum, although we also have our own spectrum now. And that's always been the approach. Part1, 1 (of 2)

You guys asked for a deeper sim and that's what 2.9 is. Submitted. Rebuilt Avatars: Player avatars completely redone. 14 hairstyles, 8 skin tones, 6 hair colors, beard options, all at higher resolution. Over 50,000 combinations across the 4,700+ players the game generates. Coach avatars got the same revamp. Player Cards: Cards rebuilt from scratch to feel like a broadcast graphic. Team-color gradient hero that pulls each program's actual colors, oversized OVR display, archetype line, headline stat strip, and tabs for stats, ratings, game logs, and bio. Coaching Systems: Biggest gameplay shift in this build. You pick an offensive scheme and a defensive scheme and they change how your team plays. 6 offensive options (Run & Gun, Motion, Pick & Roll, Princeton, Post-Centric, Balanced) and 6 defensive options (Man, 2-3, 3-2, 1-3-1, Press/Trap, Pack Line). Run & Gun teams shoot more threes and turn the ball over more. Pack Line teams give up fewer paint points but allow more open looks. Same modifiers run in live games and background sims so your scheme matters either way. Scout Cards: Tap any team and you can now see their offensive and defensive playstyle laid out in full. Real game-planning is finally possible. Facing a Press team, you can scheme around it. Facing a 2-3 zone, you can prep your shooters. Pull up an opponent before tipoff and actually know what you're up against. Recruiting Pipelines: Recruit generation now mirrors real basketball geography. Top talent clusters in real hotbeds. Class rank, position rank, and state rank show on every recruit. All-American badges flag elite prospects and State Player of the Year badges call out standouts in smaller states, but neither is an auto cheat code. An All-American is a strong prospect on paper, development still matters, and not every one pans out. State POY varies a lot by state. The real edge is taking a job in a strong pipeline state. Better states produce better players more often, and coaching in a hotbed gives you home state advantage on recruits everyone else is fighting over. Smarter Rankings + Bug Fixes: Rankings rebuilt to reflect who's actually playing the best. Quality wins matter, strength of schedule matters, bad losses hurt. Plus a long list of bug fixes from your Discord reports. If you posted a bug, it's been looked at even if I didn't reply directly. Android: Thank you for everyone who has been testing! We have finally got aversion that is ready for release and I am submitting it right now! I will keep you guys updated on when it drops❤️

Dear Ian Carroll, I want to take a moment to address what you said about me and my comments in your video—without snark or personal animus. When you say, “The Jews are wonderful,” and insist you’re merely exploring a connection between Israel, Epstein, and Jewish influence, I want to believe you. But based on your past statements, I think at best, you are naively playing with fire, and at worst, you are being disingenuous—aware that making certain insinuations under the guise of intellectual curiosity is enough to set in motion others who will state more explicitly what you only imply. It’s not any single remark that alarms me, but the pattern of statements you’ve made, including: 1.Suggesting that Israel was behind 9/11 and that Israelis—or Jews—celebrated the attacks, even going so far as to claim Israel mocked 9/11 in its 10/7 post about “dancing again.” 2.Claiming that the Scofield Bible was bankrolled by the Rothschilds as a Zionist operation to subvert Christianity and advance Jewish/Zionist interests. 3.Failing to push back in a conversation on the Hodgetwins podcast when it was suggested that Jews are “behind pornography” as part of an anti-civilizational plot. Instead, you commented that you had heard about it and found it intriguing. While you didn’t originate the claim, public figures have a responsibility to challenge such narratives when they are put forward in front of large audiences. Again, this isn’t about one isolated comment but the totality of your rhetoric, which indicates you are either recklessly entertaining antisemitic tropes or deliberately introducing them in a way that lets others take them further. As with all conspiracy theories, there are kernels of truth. No theory is entirely fabricated—they gain traction because they weave in elements of reality. But that doesn’t make them harmless. I believe you are irresponsibly connecting horrific events—9/11, pedophilia sex rings, and the subversion of Christianity—directly to the only Jewish nation on earth. While you may insist you are only criticizing Israel’s government, your language and framing suggest otherwise. Maybe this is naïveté on your part. I’m not saying the rise in antisemitism—or the increasing risk Jews face in America—is solely your responsibility. But you are, knowingly or not, helping lay the groundwork for the kind of rhetoric that has historically fueled antisemitic oppression and violence. I hope you reflect honestly on this, even if only small parts resonate with you. I will always defend your right to say whatever you want—I’m not calling for you to be deplatformed or banned. But I am asking you to consider the responsibility that comes with influence, and the ways in which our words can shape discourse for better or worse. Thank you for your time.

Is Traditional Software Engineering Dead? “Does this mean that traditional software engineering is dead? Absolutely not. Software engineers—even the ones who are not necessarily tuning or training AI models—these are now among the most leveraged people on earth. Sure, the guys who are training and tuning models are even more leveraged because they’re building the tool set that software engineers are using. But software engineers still have two massive advantages on you. First, they think in code, so they actually know what’s going on underneath. And all abstractions are leaky. So when you have a computer programming for you—when you have Claude Code or equivalent programming for you—it’s going to make mistakes. It’s going to have bugs. It’s going to have suboptimal architecture. So it’s not going to be quite right. And someone who understands what’s going on underneath will be able to plug the leaks as they occur. So if you want to build a well-architected application, if you want to be able to even specify a well-architected application, if you want to be able to make it run at high performance, if you want it to do its best, if you want to catch the bugs early, then you’re going to want to have a software engineering background. The traditional software engineer is going to be able to use these tools much better. And there are still many kinds of problems in software engineering that are out of scope for these AI programs today. The easiest way to think about those is problems that are outside of their data distribution. For example, if they need to do a binary sort or reverse a linked list, they’ve seen countless examples of that, so they’re extremely good at it. But when you start getting out of their domain—where you have to write very high-performance code, when you’re running on architectures that are novel or brand new, when you’re actually creating new things or solving new problems, then you still need to get in there and hand code it. At least until either there are so many of those examples that new models can be trained on them, or until these models can sufficiently reason at even higher levels of abstraction and crack it on their own… And remember: there is no demand for average. The average app—nobody wants it, at least as long as it’s not filling some niche that is filled by a superior app. The app that is better will win essentially a hundred percent of the market. Maybe there’s some small percentage that will bleed off to the second-best app because it does some little niche feature better than the main app, or it’s cheaper, or something of the sort. But generally speaking, people only want the best of anything. So the bad news is there’s no point in being number two or number three—like in the famous Glengarry Glen Ross scene where Alec Baldwin says, “First place gets a Cadillac Eldorado, second place gets a set of steak knives, and third place you’re fired.” That’s absolutely true in these winner-take-all markets. That’s the bad news: You have to be the best at something if you want to win. However, the set of things you can be best at is infinite. You can always find some niche that is perfect for you, and you can be the best at that thing. This goes back to an old tweet of mine where I said, “Become the best in the world at what you do. Keep redefining what you do until this is true.” And I think that still applies in this age of AI.”

Did you hear Danielle Smith wants to privatize your local hospital? She wants to take hospitals away from AHS and hand them over to other people to run. Maybe Covenant Health, maybe someone else. Nobody knows. Remember, the UCP privatized lab services in 2020 and it was a disaster. Endless waits to get an appointment, even longer waits to get results, and doctors sounding the alarm about mistakes in tests. Eventually the UCP had to reverse the whole thing at a massive cost. It was a dangerous and expensive failure, and that’s what Smith wants to try with hospitals. Let me tell you why I'm concerned. The Premier doesn’t understand healthcare, hospitals, or how competition works. She’s barely said a word about her plans for AHS since announcing that she's going to break it up. Instead, we hear these drips and drabs at members-only meetings in the lead-up to Smith’s UCP leadership review. Second, she said she wants a health care system that is ruled by “competition and fear.” This is bizarre, and it’s not going to work. Systems that are based on fear will inevitably collapse and those incentives don’t work in public service delivery. The folks at Covenant Health do amazing work right across the province every day, but we must recognize that Covenant facilities do not offer the full range of healthcare that Albertans expect, particularly in reproductive health and end of life issues. And despite what the Premier said, Covenant has been forced to shutter some of their emergency rooms, just as AHS has, because they have the same problem – a UCP government that is hostile to healthcare professionals. Changing the sign outside doesn’t create new doctors. Even if Tyler Shandro is on the board. Maybe Smith is just musing and saying the first thing that she thinks will please the person she’s talking to. Again. The problem is when you’re Premier, people work to turn your musings into reality. I’m concerned Smith is taking us down a path she hasn’t thought through at all. We need a government that is competent. That is not ideological, that does not make up its plans on the fly to save itself. We need better, and that’s what Alberta’s New Democrats promise.

🚨12 HOUR NEWS RECAP 1. Trump said illegal invasion is killing Europe on his arrival in Scotland for a 5-day UK visit: “You better get your act together, or there will be no more Europe. You have to stop this horrible invasion that is happening across Europe, in many European countries.” 2. Fighting continued along the Cambodia-Thailand border with at least 32 people killed so far, over 100,000 displaced, and dozens wounded. Malaysia says both sides agreed to a ceasefire but need more time to finalise the details. 3. Russia hit Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipro overnight with a combined missile and drone attack. Zelensky confirmed fatalities and said first responders acted fast - but warned that Ukraine’s drones are already answering. 4. Ghislaine Maxwell spent 9 closed-door hours with Trump’s DOJ Deputy AG - who also happens to be his former personal lawyer. This was the same stream. I've typed whole novels explaining this in good faith. They aren't good faith they are looking for openings on Nick's ankle to bite. Its not worth arguing with them. We are at war with ZOG right now. They claim to be on the same team but spend every day shooting us in the back. Don't argue with them, just let them fuck up their stupid plans from behind a block. The only time these dudes get engagement is when they fuck with us and intentionally misunderstand and misconstrue a take. I want a White Christian America, clearly the groypers do. We are the tip of the spear in this war and these rats are more concerned with their own position in the hypothetical 4th Reich than they are actually winning, it is disgusting and selfish. It's even worse because all of his ideas are fucking stupid. I'm just so uninterested in this bullshit fake conversation. I know there are a lot of wns who have been in this forever and are in their 40s or older. You need to trust the plan and understand that while you may think the groypers are gay or talk like black people we are the generation who is leading this fight to levels we have never reached before. Regardless, we are currently grappling with ZOG, AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS, so maybe try to help. He has a video from a day ago talking with another of these losers about how the groyper strategy of infiltration wouldn't work even though we are literally in the middle of ZOG melting down over it working. I've been in this since I was fucking 16 years old I have seen an endless supply of these bitter idiots and I've really held out as long as I can trying to be good faith and handhold them through it, but its just transparently bad faith. If you are attacking groypers right now, you're on team Israel. Sorry, that's just real life. Your plan to start a white commune is stupid and a waste of time. I think the whole country should be a white commune. There are already plenty of racist little towns in rural America. But when the federal government comes to rape them with migrants, they have no reply. Your plan to start a "based" brick and morter prep school is stupid and a massive liability to anyone who attends. Even with one second of thinking a guerilla, online prep school is a better and far cheaper idea. But honestly, wignat U is completely unnecessary because we have online shows and resources already available, and more is being made every day. What the fuck. I didn't say anything about this or your porn videos and just tried to support you when you were being attacked. Because I value winning over making sure everyone knows I'm the most basedest person on Twitter and I should be in charge. I'm typing this whole novel now because I hope there are some older gen wn guys who are actually good faith. It's just a genuine appeal to groypers to just block these dudes and stop giving them 90% of their engagement, and to the anti-groyper wns who actually want to win. Maybe you don't understand why the young people act this way, but we are the most zealous and numerous soldiers and we are fucking winning. We are either a team or we aren't. You're on our side or Israel's side. Do not believe there is an alternative, believe you can guide and assist this movement with your wisdom and turbo based takes. If your name is WODANWIGNAT and you hate Jesus and love whites, it means nothing if you join the chorus of Jewish voices against the only white youth movement you've got.

I made this product launch video over the weekend with just prompts It's all vibe coded There's something you should know, though: Like everyone else, a few days ago my timeline started getting full of videos like this when Remotion launched their Claude skill, so I decided to give it a go I was captivated by all the examples, so I started like everyone was saying: "just write a prompt" I typed the prompt, and it created an extremely bland, untasteful, stock-looking video 10 prompts in and it was not getting better. It was very, very bland. But at least it was something, so I kept going at it I ended up spending my entire weekend on this, 2-3 days of work. Only to realize my original reference videos that inspired me to get started were all fake Everyone was outright lying about their results. They all claimed "I made this with just one prompt", but it was just bait, they didn't really use Remotion or code at all, it was just a normal, human-made motion video Then you expand the X post and read the replies and they're all like "haha joke" in the comments, but their main post already got 1.5 million views and bamboozled everyone who didn't read further And this is a problem: when a viral trend happens, these posts flood your timeline, and you only realize that they're all noise and bait (and that they haven't even used the tools they claim) when you click through the post and read its comments. But 90% of people (like me, initially) just see the post on their timeline while scrolling, and assume it's all real. You don't go in to check every single post you see: you just like it, or save it for later, and carry on with your day, thinking what you saw was the real thing, and that it's all outstanding results, and that motion designers are really done And it's so anxiety inducing, because everyone is hyping their results, but most of it is just not true. I have stopped reading X lately because going in makes me so anxious, everyone is claiming extraordinary outlier results just for the views and clicks, and you feel like you're lagging behind and you're not good enough because you don't get those results So for this video I decided to actually take the tech out for a spin, and see what results I could really get out of it I used Remotion and Claude Code 4.5, but contrary to what everyone was claiming, this video was not "just a prompt". It was fully vibe coded, but it required much more than a prompt. It was multiple days worth of work Here's what I learned: - Making vibe coded videos with Remotion is ~10-20x slower than building app code. I've been wasting my Claude limits on this video - Everything takes a lot of manual work and reprompting. You often need to go frame by frame correcting tiny things - It makes very silly mistakes - Even Opus 4.5 has very very limited knowledge of spatial / visual things. It doesn't understand well z-indexes, layers, compositions, proportions, temporal coherence, etc. Claude Code feels extremely dumb when creating code for Remotion videos, which surprised me a lot, beacuse I had been mind blown by how incredibly well it worked with my Ruby on Rails SaaS codebases - You need to have some design knowledge to adjust things manually, you need to ask for exactly what you want, in the technical jargon it expects. You can't just say "make this more beautiful" or "animate this better" because it just creates slop - Right now vibe coded videos are promising, but I think I could have done this video faster just by doing it manually in After Effects. It really took that much work - If you have a creative idea for something you want to animate, it takes multiple hours of back and forth prompting to create just one or two seconds worth of **good** animation - Tip: PARAMETERIZE everything! It tends to hardcode magic numbers everywhere in the code, so if you change something earlier in the video timeline, everything else breaks. You want to essentially be creating "key frames" with code by telling it to parameterize every frame where something important happens, and calculate the rest of the keyframes based off that. This comes in handy when you need, for example, to adjust keyframes to match the music So in summary: vibe coded videos are promising, but right now it only works for very stock-looking videos unless you put in a ton of effort Maybe actually useful for 1-2 second web animations though, I'll try that next It will obviously get better, this feels like the quality of code generation in 2023-2024, you need to hold its hand and correct it at every step along the way. But even if video code generation was better, you would still need someone with motion design knowledge to at least set the creative direction, lay out the overall script and composition, etc. It's not completely hands-off unless you want slop And a word on caution: especially here on X, there's 90% hype and 10% reality, nothing is what it seems. Do not believe what you see online, people are constantly baiting and then just laughing it off in the comments

Since the beginning, it's been obvious that Gaza was in many ways a fight between International Law and the US's "rules-based order". This whole episode around the UN resolution is a perfect illustration of this. There is no debate amongst international law scholars that resolutions by the UN Security Council that "demand" certain actions are binding (good explanation by a legal scholar here: In fact resolutions by the council ARE international law, article 25 of the UN Charter clearly states: "The Members of the United Nations agree to accept and carry out the decisions of the Security Council in accordance with the present Charter." Yet the US now argues that the "rule" is in fact different: "It's a non-binding resolution, so there's no impact at all on Israel". Where is this rule written, that somehow when the UNSC "demands an immediate ceasefire for the month of Ramadan respected by all parties leading to a lasting sustainable ceasefire", it's non-binding and "there's no impact at all" on the warring party? Nowhere, that's the beauty of the rules-based order: the rules are made-up in the moment to fit the interests of the U.S. and its henchmen, depending on the circumstances. Had the very same resolution, with the exact same language, been adopted for a conflict that the U.S. actually wanted stopped, there's no doubt they'd have argued the exact opposite: that it was binding and the hostilities had to cease immediately. Which goes to show that sometimes the Rules-Based Order does align with international law, when it's in the US's interests to do so. In that sense, Israel's genocide in Gaza is a great revealer because everything about it goes against international law: the mass killing of civilians, journalists, and humanitarian workers; the pre-existing occupation of Palestinian land; the wholesale destruction of Gaza: the hospitals, the mosques, the schools; the torture of prisoners; the deliberate starvation of the population, etc. So never before have we been able to see in such an obvious way the immense contrast between the rules-based order and international law. And there's no going back, the curtain was pulled: if they hadn't noticed before, the world now knows for sure that the US (and Israel of course) is quite literally a rogue state, operating outside international laws and norms, and outside the most fundamental moral principles. There's no overstating how consequential this is for the integrity of international relations. By doing so, the US effectively destroys the world order it largely created after WW2 because it effectively tells everyone that the set of institutions, rules and norms that underpin it are meaningless. We're effectively now in a world system where everyone realizes the police, the government, the basic set of beliefs, have become completely corrupted. This changes everything. What comes next? I think there's no coming back for the U.S. And I think they know this, maybe unconsciously, otherwise they would at least pretend to act for the better good of all. The fact they don't shows they've effectively abdicated ambitions to restore their hegemony: they're now nakedly in it to milk the system for themselves, universal pretentions have gone. Most countries however don't want to live in an "eat or get eaten"/"might makes right" world, without rules or norms. So in time a new system will arise. The biggest unknowns being: can it arise without a major global war, who will lead the construction of its foundations and how can it be set up so that this time around it is fair for all and respected by all?
